PS: have enough IT experience now.

you are doing MBA for your carrer not for career break.
It will not serve any purpose and you will face difficulties even in your placements even if you clear some good IIM.
Moreover really dude MBA is not everything really telling you.

I want to switch from IT to IB industry and I am finding it very difficult to concentrate on my certifications study(CFA L1) as they keep me busy wid the same kind of wrk wat 2-3 years wrk ex guys are doing.
So, not adding much value in job.
So, thinking of sitting at home and study for finance related certifications and meanwhile study for CAT properly. In that case I shall be able to justify the break in interviews I guess.
PS: I already have 5+ wrk ex in IT.
Want genuine comments on this as I am still weighing the options.
bro.. i have done cfa level 1 along with my work. its tough but doable. i agree with shashank on this. if you look relatively, you will be loosing money and also a break in ur career.
