Congratulations on getting such a phenomenal CAT score.
IIM kashipur is the youngest of all the IIM's but enjoying some of the uniqueness being in Kashipur. Kashipur is a well known Industrial area. Here one can find all the big names ranging from automobile to FMCG. TATA, Manidra, Bajaj, Nestle, Dabar are some examples who have established there production houses here. IIM Kashipur students are highly capitalizing over it by doing live projects with them.

What is the shortlisting criteria then if it is not that is mentioned in the document??
the shortlisting criteria is same as mentioned in document...
but that doesn't means everyone who satisfy this criteria ll get call because weight-age have been given to all parts of ur profile including CAT score.....based on the total marks one gets by that weight-age method calls r sent to required no. of people starting from student who gets highest marks..........hope now u have a better clarity.....

Mails have not been send yet. But within a week or two you will receive the mail regarding your interview.
Secondly as per our knowledge we do not have any information regarding what you stated in second para. If you can provide us the link where you have read about this then v can give you a better explanation after crosschecking that with admission authorities.

I just wanted to ask about the placement prospects at these new IIMs. As i want to work in the Investment Banking industry after my MBA. I wanted to ask, whether any such I-banks (Foreign/Indian) have come for the summer placements in any of these new 6 IIMs???And if yes, then what was the profile offered to those students?
Also, as currently I am working in my own business, is it necessary to show the salary slips, etc. to the profs during PI? (I mean, how can i show them my salary slips if i own that company??)

2. Well this one will seem stupid - Am a good 'writer' (thought process) but a bad 'writer' (handwriting). My handwriting is worse than a 3rd grader and it takes a dozen men to comprehend my handwriting. Do you think it will impact my WA score?
3. I did M.Com. (1 year completed) to get into FMS as I dont have 60% in UG - had a ding from FMS in 2009 despite 99.58%. Will this course go against me? I will tell the Adcom the truth - I did it for FMS and chose M. Com. despite being an engineer because I wanted to learn about international commerce. Being one of the laziest souls on this planet, I havent collected my first year marksheets. Will I need it during PI? Lastly, I have a supply in M. Com. first year which I will clear this June.Overall, I want to know if this course brings more negatives than positives, should i take it off my profile?
4. Apart from my full-time job, I am working on my start-up (we sell electric bikes under our own brand) at nights and on weekends (My employers are aware of this). My start-up is not registered as currently we sell our bikes only in Delhi (we do not need to register ourselves till we reach sales of INR 1 million or start inter-state sales). Hence, regarding the proofs, I only have documentary evidence in the form of mails from suppliers, customer enquiries, mails from my angel investors and incubators, etc. Do I need to get the company registered?

We can't divulge any info on placements as of now. However you may be able to access official placement report from our website in some time.
Are you employed full time with you business? If yes then get a work ex certi on the letter pad of the company to the PI. That should do.:)

I too was in the same scenario last year as I had 99.xx %ile with 57.5% in Engg. And I am here, aren't I

Look if you are good at something make it ur usp. It is cool to have an idea but it is cooler to implement it and you have certainly done that
