Hi Seniors,
I believe the biggest concern that everyone has here is whether they stand a decent chance or not since a large number of candidates have been called but ultimately only 100-120 will be selected.
I believe it would be helpful if you could share the profiles of some students at IIM Kashipur so that we can have an approximate idea(not that it has any bearing on our chances of selection). It would also be helpful if you could mention the highest, lowest and the median percentile.
P.S. If I get through IIM Kashipur, I would be the happiest person on earth. I have always wanted to go trekking in the valleys of uttarakhand.

I too was in the same scenario last year as I had 99.xx %ile with 57.5% in Engg. And I am here, aren't I ? So buck up and start preparing for the second stage. But do have an explanation ready for the same, it will come in handy .

Thanks to my acads.... (X/XII/B.tech) - 71.2/83.3/59.xy ... it felt justified.

After having close to 7 years of experience in IT and and equal number of attempts of CAT, I have resigned to the fact that I would never clear it... now, I just attempted the CAT for the fun of it... and there was not even a single minute of practice.... maybe I am just smitten by the test now...
Got 99.20 (QA/VA 96.86/99.18 ) ... got the calls from the new IIMs except rohtak and of course Kozhikode (checked my result on getting a mail from here)

I am not willing to take 2 years off now... and just like CAT, I might go to the GD/PI just for the fun of it... so the rest can strike one person off the competion list.

But still its still sounding hard to explain its relevance to convince people. I am all ready to change my field. Will they consider me as a fresher? B.com (Hons.) - 66.6%
Work exp (as on today) - 24 months

I didn't get any call from the new iims although i satisfy the criteria for academics....

Please advise.

Well, after looking at your percentiles, and the fact that you have got a call from IIM Lucknow, i don't think it's possible. Please check whether you selected IIM Kashipur at the time of scheduling your CAT.

I got call from all the five new IIMs and IIM Ranchi. My 10th % is 91.2, my 12th % is 75.4 but my undergrar score is seriously ****ed up. Will my undergrad performance screw my chances of getting in the IIms???????????????

Oh. My. God.

I just checked my application form and found I hadn't applied for Kashipur :banghead:. I have no idea how I could have missed it. Oh man, I just hope this doesn't come back to haunt me later :(

There's nothing I can do about it now by any chance, is there? Oh well, all the best to everyone who wasn't dumb enough to miss a call due to sheer negligence.

PS: I think I must have read IIM-Kashipur PGDM as one of the courses of IIM-Kozhikode that I wasn't eligible for. Oh geez...
