Hi Akshay, my cat %ile is 86.16 and I fall in the NC-OBC category. My 10th , 12th and grad % details are 92.4, 86.4 and 94......I was my batch topper. I have a workex of 17 months in TCS. Do I stand a chance in the interviews ?????

Low grads are OK if you back yourself up.... i meant, not a story or excuse.... just the real reasons.
if they dont want to see low acads.. they will not call you in the first place
P.S. - instead of the acads, that bad spelling might affect

PS: I had 57.5% in my engg...
for people getting calls from both older and new iim's .. will a separate interview be conducted or the score of the gd & interview of older iim's will be considered...

as i am clearing cut for stage 1 for iim kashipur which is sec1 : 75 sec 75 and ov: 80 but still i am not selected in first round...
i know their would be negligible chances in next stage but still if i am clearing cut offs what would other reason of this....???

yeah... that cutoff is for Stage 1a. Now read the next step...
and after that ... 1b. - a merit list will be prepared with 76 percent (38/50) weightage to CAT score... and if they call everyone, then they would be calling 45000 people(75%ile cutoff) to the interview for 30 odd seats for General Category. You think thats going to happen? then a lot of the older IIMS also have similar "initial - cutoffs"...
I guess you can think further ahead, rather than me putting it down here...
