I received the confirmation within 30 min of sending the mail today ..Kudos to SIBM Pune . 1)Shourya now I don't have to do anything till 5th June right??
2)and when exactly we should report to college ( date before 5th june )
3) will we be getting any further confirmation from SIBM pune on hard copy as to when and where to report before the actual session begins.

2) Report anytime before the 5th of June (3rd,4th) - you dont want to report too early... you'll be the only soul in the campus then AND IT WILL GET LONELY..
3) I dont think you will be getting any more confirmation... THIS WAS IT (although am not sure... atleast we didn't get anything else 2 years back) - You WILL get the RECEIPT for this payment once you come on campus
For 1st years like yourself.. you will be allotted rooms RANDOMLY....

Yes the allottment will be done before you guyz join... Rooms are either twin or 4-seaters...
Everyone converting NITIE might be withdrawing admission to SIBM Pune BUT I don't think people who have converted IMT-G will be cancelling admissions...

I stay in Kolkata so not possible 4 me to come down to Pune at this moment. The numbers which are there in the various websites are all non-functional. Seniors who had applied for the same last yr plz fwd me the number if ny1 still has it. Thanks in advance.

There is already a poll for that, the only difference being that the current status and converts are not added. While these exercises might give us a rough idea, I doubt their reliability in general. The first wailtlist movement doesn't reflect the poll. People who have already converted in more than one institutes, including SIBM might find it pointless to log on to this thread and vote on the poll, just for our sake. People might lie on the polls, or make last minute decision changes. There are a lot of variables, including category-wise lists and even after taking all of that into consideration, we might just have a very rough idea. The way I see it, an overly optimistic response will trash our hopes in the end and an overly pessimistic one will make us worry our hair off for nothing... This a waiting game, and all it requires is patience till the next movement comes about. I think it's best we keep it at that. The more information you dig up, the less reliable it seems to get.
