Ok there are a lot of speculations going around in your heads, so lets try and lay a few of them to rest.
1) W/L movement : Yes the last one of only 6 (there were 2 ppl on w/l #1) is a bit shocking so late in the process. This just means that not many were able to convert A,B,C from the selected students OR If ppl have converted, then they haven't yet applied for cancellation (apparently basking in the glory currently)
Effectively only these 3 colleges have been counted in the last movement as MDI and XL results were out only a few days back and AM SURE the concerned students haven't acted fast enough
So if these movements are to be taken into consideration then we have to wait for the next movement
2) Publishing movement on the website : Like the previous years, the top 50 movement was accounted in the website as the 1st list only had those many numbers, people after that were called on personally by e-mail and snail mail as they were not given initial waitlist numbers. Seems like even though they have published a bigger waitlist, they are sticking to the age old norm. Look at it this way, atleast now you know that you are waitlisted in x no. (atleast till 110)... previously ppl had to call up personally to get to know that and still there was no confirmation. Take this as a positive sign please.
3) Losing faith in SIBM-P : I saw quite a few of you started to question the morality of the institution that I passed out from just because they stopped publishing the list online. Guyz this time you atleast know your waitlist no. before hand unlike last years.. so take this as a mark of improvement in transparency rather than questioning it.
DO NOT LOSE HOPE FELLAS.... This is not the time to do so.. Many of you might have other converts and many might not. But the fact of the matter is, as more top notch colleges publish their results, the w/l WILL MOVE. Timing might differ due to the response of cancellation.
If the institute has published a list of waitlisted students that go till 110 that means they expect the no. to move that far. Going by previous years' trends, movement till 90 odd is almost a certainty. So hang in there folks. Be a little more patient. Already 2.5 months since the publication of results, a few more weeks wont hurt.

Who said you have to obtain your migration and transfer certificate within a short notice?? You are expected to carry it along with you once you join... that is june... That's a lot of time to procure something like that..
Worse case scenario, you convert in the 1st week of june and join immediately, then obviously you cant get your migration and transfer done soon enough. In that case your position will be understood by the documentation department and you will be given sufficient time to procure the same.
And also the induction prog. As they carry some credit score ,how will it be managed for those who are late converts
Dude forget about that for the time being. You have more pressing things to worry about. Am sure this induction thing can be managed once you convert. It isn't that big of a deal.

Yes the only mistake that they did was not publishing the list on the date specified (22nd). They were late by one day and hence this pandemonium. It is expected that people who are in the waitlist will check the link provided on the date specified. Anyways no point crying over spilt milk.

Next list should come out somewhere near the end of the 1st week of May.
ok puys.. turns out our snail mail...is nt so "snaily" aftr all...i recieved my selection letter by post this morning... i hvnt seen it yet..coz i had college n dad has taken it wid him...bt it has arrived pretty quick...
ps. i stay in mumbai...so proximity factor.... bt othrs will get it soon enuf..and i hope tht al waitlist letters will also b posted so tht the new date of updated waitlists can b known...

Neither is the guy who is tied with me at 8 currently. He converted IIFT. No one else I know of in the wait-list. But there will be some XLRI converts in the converts above us (god willing).

Sid got his refund promptly. Refer to the following below. Also, apart from sending the mails there are some procedures I guess which include sending a hand-written copy of admissions withdrawal. You could also PM Sid1989 for further help.
had a really pleasant surprise today wen i got my refund of 344000 tdy! And wats more surprising is that i had withdrawn just a week back!
these are the 3 ids i sent a mail to askin for a refund as well as mentioning all ma details(the same details which i had sent during admission) do ask for an acknoweledgment of ur request...

use DTDC courier for sending since its one of the few courier services which deliver prop to sibm...
there is no need to send any receipt or nething of that sort to sibm, just the handwritten signed copy would do

From what I understand SIBM is givin out refunds in batches(purely my take). Robychillz had sent his wihdrawal req almost a month before me, but we got our refunds just 2 or 3 days apart.
Contct admin offc, they are a helpful lot, I am sure u will get ur answer.
