As per the last few pages the waitlist is almost cleared... And the course commences on 5th June which is just 15 days away...
What if there are still some seats left?? Do they offer it to those not waitlisted initially? Or do they stop offering admissions once the course commences??

Yes if the inital waitlist is exhausted and then there are still few vacant seats remaining, then the admin will call on students who initially had reject letters based on their composite scores...

Just wish to share something here.
I have converted SIBM Pune a couple of days back, this should have been the happiest thing that happened to me since I have no other good convert other than this, though I have got FMS-BHU and SIBM was a dream come true, lovely campus, great seniors, great rankings, great placements. But due to certain circumstances that are beyond my control, & due to financial troubles on the domestic front, I will not be able to take admission there, since now I am not in a position to afford such a sky high fees.
Now hoping like mad that I get selected in Canara Bank since have already been rejected by Union & discarded by all other banks, though I have Dena & IOB lined up, I don't feel upto the task since am feeling real depressed now & can't prepare well, & don't know what will happen in Interview. Gave my best shot in Canara & I feel that now all my energy, enthusiasm & life has been drained out of me.
Applied for loan but did not receive a favourable response, My only hope now is to become a Banker, earn & work hard, save money & then crack CAT & other MBA exams again, maybe luck would turn out better next time. I wish in the future also I convert SIBM since it is the best place I have ever been to.

SBI offers Scholar Loan for selected institutes. SIBM is one of them.
The loan can be sanctioned without any collateral but the loan can be availed only after u join the institute in june. That means you have to pay the first installment and later it can be reimbursed along with the rest of the loan.
The loan can only be availed from SBI Hinjewadi pune branch. Contact the bank officials to see if they can sanction the loan early.

Inspite of all the difficulties and constraints, I have finally found a ray of light, I have through the help of some really good people arranged to pay the fees. Would make the payment tomorrow, tell me the no at which I should call after making the payment.
Now please someone tell me what all do I need to do to make the payment after transferring via RTGS and getting UTR No, Do I have to scan and mail the payment receipt or simply email by the format mentioned and I need some confirmation from SIBM but the letter says that you will get that only when you visit the institute, but many puys here have said that they got it immediately after payment, please guide !!!!!!! 
Also when do we have to reach Pune and where do we need to report, the SIBM campus at Lavale or some other place, I am thinking of reaching on 3rd, I am thinking of taking a bus from S.B Road, would it be allright, and at what time could I get the bus, would reach early in the morning at around 6:00. And we would be alloted hostels then itself, right ???
Anything else that I need to do, I won't be having my degree, Would Provisional Cert suffice ??
Anything else that I should know, let me know & how many guys at SIBM are non-engineers, don't want to be a Rare Species there, I am BBA, nothing personal against engineers

now answering some of your questions.
1. Regarding payment of fee.
kindly do the RTGS transfer of required amount to the given account number of SIBM. Then send a mail to [email protected] in the given format giving subject line as your name and SNAP ID(will be easier for them to recognize you). And It is over!!
If anxious you can call at 02039116000 and ask for account department after doing the transfer.you will get a confirmation mail regarding the receipt of installment.
2. they have asked to reach by 5th..so plan accordingly
3.Provisional degree will suffice.
Hope rest doubts can be managed!!

I am feeling bad, very bad... but due to personal problems I would not be able to join SIBM P ever... may join some other col though..
I loved the college, the campus, the seniors, everything... I waited a lot for the convert and probably was the happiest wen I finally converted..I will definitely miss it..
Thanks a lot to all the seniors for the all time support. Loved the way the whole admission process was handled..Will always remember it as a sweet memory...

After scoring a 107.25 in SNAP 2011 and a decent GE-PI, I couldn't believe when I was not included in the first list. I really loved the ambiance and panoramic view from the Lavale campus.
Today I received the SIBM Selection email. However, I would be joining the Doctoral Program of IIM Calcutta or the 2 Yr PGDM(MBA) program at IIM Bangalore.

You already have converted NMIMS, & it's slightly better ranked than SIBM, BTW which course have you got in NMIMS, MBA Core or sectoral programs, because if you have got Core then it would be better for you to stick to NMIMS, otherwise you could think of something else. NMIMS is very good for Finance, so if that's ur line of choice, then anyway, NMIMS would be the best.
