is it necessary to have work experience in order to apply for ISB Admission?
Minimum of 2 years full time workex is required on the date of joining the program. If you apply with lesser experience, you may be considered for deferred admission into a future class when you would have the reqd workex.
I have a Work Experience of 5 years in I.T. industry.
I have recently given my GMAT and have secured a 680 ( V- 31, Q- 49, AWA- 4.0 & I.R. - 6)
Some of the other educational stats for me are :
10th - 86%
12th - 68%
B.Tech(I.T.) - 72%
I have missed the first deadline for applying to ISB this year.
Please do let me know, do I stand a chance to make it do the interviews if i apply in the second round.
Thanks.
Your application is much more than the sum of your academics and GMAT. These only help us understand whether you can handle the academic intensity of ISB's PGP. Your essays and how you are able to communicate your takeaways from your professional and personal experiences are a very important part of your application to gauge your leadership potential. It is misleading to provide any assessment until we have a completed application to review. If you would like to discuss your profile some more and how to create a strong application please call PGP Admissions.
@ISB.Admissions sir, looking at my acads...even if my application is good and GMAT score is good..do i have a chance to make it to ISB...??
Impossible to say without a completed application. Your application is so much more than just your academic grades and GMAT. A positive frame of mind is also important when you start your application. Try to read up on this thread about how to make a strong application and also check our Youtube videos for addl material on how to go about preparing your application. You are also very welcome to give a call to PGP Admissions team for a confidential personalized discussion regarding your MBA plans.
The application number for my application has changed and so is for most of those people with whom I am in contact. Is there any specific reason or is it the usual process at ISB? Does the change in application number signifies anything?

The change does not signify anything - it is a unique id and you can use either of the ids you have in your communication with us.
Dear Mr. Kannan, There is a gossip going around that the Delhi/ Mohali interview calls have already been sent. Since the ISB portal mentions the Delhi interview dates as 8-11 Nov and Mohali interview dates as 1-5 Nov, and that the calls will be sent just 5-7 days in advance, could you please throw some light on this and clarify the issue. Thanks

Few interview calls are going out for Mohali for interviews next week. All such calls provide 5-7 days' notice. No calls have gone out for Delhi yet. In any case, the 5-7 day advance notice shall apply to all applicants.
Hello:Can you please also let us know when will the interview invites be sent for US applicants who chose IV option through Skype (Indian passport holder)..Thanks.
Interviews for overseas candidates have begun and will continue till mid Nov.
Dear Sir, As per ISB interview schedule history, interviews have never been conducted in Mumbai. Is there any chance that ISB will schedule interviews in Mumbai in future?

Never say never We have interviewed in Mumbai couple of years back. At this time we can't speculate what will be the need in a future year but please rest assured we shall always endeavour to make it convenient for applicants just as we need to balance the availability of required resources.
Dear Sir, I need your input on employment details. I have been working with one organisation but received multiple promotions during my tenure. Shall this be listed as one employment information or I can split it into number of positions I had in the organisation?
Till what date can one expect interview calls if one has chosen hyd (hyd) as the centre. I see lot of people saying that most of the last week is generally dedicated to re-applicants.. Appreciate if you can give some clarity.
Is there any pattern that ISB follows to invite people for the interview other than the location criterion?
Are the invites sent out in the order of when they were submitted? Or are people called in order of their industry background (first IT, then banking etc.)? Or is it all random?
I have one query regarding relationship with Applicant. I have added my Senior Manager as one of the Evaluator and chosen Supervisor as the Relationship with the Applicant as I could not find anything which says Manager in the drop down. Please let me know if its correct?
Dear Sir Where do we mention certifications in the application i.e. in awards or work related achievements? I have certificate in project management and I am not sure where to mention it?
