My application number on the portal recently changed from 141xxx to 9xxx, is this normal?
Yes this is normal. It is only a tracking number - you may use either number to refer to your file.

Sir,

There is lot of speculation going on with regards to whether interview calls for Delhi R1 candidates are over or not. We have called the ISB office and have received both responses that all delhi calls have already been sent out and also that calls can be expected till tomorrow. Pl throw some light on it.
Sir,

A similar confusion exists for interviews scheduled at Hyd (Mumbai, Blore, Chennai, Hyd) Though the website says Nov 8th is the last day for interviews, a few have reported calls on the 10th of Nov at Hyderabad. Till when can we expect calls and till when shall the interviews take place? Please clarify. Thanks in advance..

@ISB.Admissions With the Diwali festival around the corner, I think ISB should convey people whose interview is scheduled between 12th and 15th November beforehand.
@ISB.Admissions same question have you stopped giving calls for delhi , please throw some light this.....................

Same confusion as rganesh. Have all the Mumbai interview calls been sent out and when is the last date to receive an interview invite?
Dear sir,
I have two questions to ask...
1. Currently I am working in a government organisation. It is unfortunate that my evaluators show hesitations to give their official email ids due to obvious reasons. If I take the offline evaluation mode, do i need additional justification during my interview for not taking the online mode?
2. I have a good academic background and have got a GMAT score of 670 (q 50, V 30) and AWA 4.0.... Whether my GMAT score will pull me down from admissions even if my profile is satisfactory?
and whether my AWA score of 4.0 will deny me admission even if the GMAT score of 670 is acceptable?

Dear ISB Adcom team,

I am a round 1 applicant (international) waiting for an interview call.
Could you please let me know whether you call a person in case he/she has not responded to the interview call mail? I am hypothizing a case where the applicant might not have received the mail or missed it for some reason.

to ISB Adcom: I am a R1 applicant. How would an applicant know whether he's been rejected or not.Would rejected applicants get a mail specifying the reason and also a feedback on thier application?

Dear sir,

I have 2.7 years of work experience.I worked in the technical department of an HR company. However,I quit the job in July this year and I am currently doing MBA in HR.My query regarding the application for ISB is that whether I can choose evaluators from my previous organisation. Also,in my application, should I mention this MBA in the educational details as I am just in the first semester of the course.

Thanks

Tanu

@priyankacharak : Please post in the relavant thread. I am a CA,CWA and CS and can help you out on deciding but this thread is for ISB applicants and ISB adcoms and I'm sure your question is grossly out of place. Please pm me your question and we can discuss.

Thanks

Sudhir Nemani

ISB.Admissions : Dear ISB Adcom Team, i wish to know that since the interview invites for Delhi have not arrived till today, so should we consider a rejection from ISB to our candidature for round 1.

sudhir3127 : by mistake ho gaya.. i hv posted in the relevant thread now πŸ˜ƒ

Dear Sir, I have a GMAT score of 660, total work experience of 5+ in IT. I believe the score is below par considering ISB's average score requirements from the website. Could you please advise if I should still apply for round 2 in November or retake GMAT?

Dear Kannan,

I worked as an intern in my current company, for the last six months of my Post Graduation. can I include this internship period in the overall Work Experience? If I do so, it would create a clash between my education and work experience period, is that okay?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my personal experience of insights into the ISB culture.

The ISB information session at Hyderabad and Pune was also very insightful. Please read my personalized experience.

All R1 interview calls for all cities in India have been sent now.

If you are sending our recommendation in off-line mode, that is fine. We will not question on this at the interview.
Your GMAT score is quite strong. Please focus on your essays.

660 is good GMAT score. It is upto you to decide when you are ready to apply. A high GMAT score does not qualify you for an interview by itself. If you are applying this year, I recommend you spend time reflecting on your essays, video essay and other parts of your application.
