I graduated last year with BTech in industrial production from Nit, Jalandhar. I have been working ever since and would be completing 1 year of experience in july this year. I gave my GRE(313) last month and am awaiting my Toefl score. I am really interested in pursuing fellowship in management from ISB and want to pursue a career in teaching. Can you please guide me regarding the process and what are you looking for in a candidate during the admission process and whether I should be giving GRE(GMAT) again for score improvement. And is there any condition regarding work experience .

@isb admission I have mid 70 marks till my graduation and mid 80 in my post grad.currently I am woking as a treasury consultant with a reputed organization with a work ex of 2 years and have been consulting many big corporateon their Treasury.I have also completed FRM. I have two question 1.) My post grad (pgdm) will have what kind of impact on my resume. 2) being from treasury background have some benefit or not.

My name is Bhavesh Haswani, and I am a Marine Engineer, working for Maersk Line, Denmark. i graduated with a first class degree in Marine Engineering from Indian Maritime University, Chennai in Sept 2013. I wish to the apply to the ISB through the Early Entry Option this year. My GMAT score is 700 (Q - 49 V - 35, IR 7, AWA 5.5).
I wish to pursue an MBA to translate into the business side of the shipping industry, in the role of an executive. I want to know whether ISB can help propel me in that direction and whether 3 years of work experience as a Marine Engineer will be sufficient. I have various extra curricular and have held posts of responsibility in my college days.

How many companies (%) that come to isb for recruitment, have a min requirement of 3 years work-ex?
And how manymany companies hire people with less than 3 yrs of work-ex?
Can I get the median/ average packages for both categories?

Hi Sir , I am currently working as a manager in TCS and keen on moving to Human resource. I am planning to do 1 year executive MBA. Undoubtedly , ISB being one of the options , I was going through their electives. There is none related to HR or Organisational behaviour. Can people move to HR role after doing an MBA from ISB? Do companies visit for campus placement in HR?

Hi, please help evaluate my profile I graduated in Electrical & Electronics engineering in 2010 from a Non (IIT/NIT) college with overall 72% .I will be writing GMAT this year. So, I have decided to work on my profile better and target ISB class of 2016 or maybe 2017. The motive behind raising my query here is to know how to build my profile better in the meantime and best time suitable to appear in GMAT exam. My academic credentials are below mentioned- 10th- 69% 12th- 72% grad -72% specialization in power - 82% I have been working with Adani's since last three years in power plant.
Hi, Isb only takes in consider marks of gmat or other exams as well and how should I apply for ISB MBA programme....
I need your expert advice. Took my GMAT yesterday after 1 month of preparation, and got disappointing 680 (Q50 V31). But, is it ? I have already taken GMAT twice before, in 2008 with 700 and then again in last year with meager 600. I would have been much happier if I had touched 700 this time. but that's life.
Anyway, my query is whether I should apply in Indian B schools such as ISB? or my GMAT score is too low to even get considered.
Should I rather concentrate on European b school. I want to join 1 years executive course.
My brief profile:
1. 10 years of work experience in Indian IT Service company, current role - Team Lead
2. 6 years of international experience
3. German as an additional language
4. X - 89%, XII - 88%, topper in college, not much extra cal.

MSC- 71.5%, BSC- 60.37%, XII- 70.4%, X- 81.5%
Can anyone please let me know what is the average GMAT score that i need to achieve for admission in ISB?
