@MANC-LONDON those are already mentioned in the previous posts, kindly check them. Total intake is 60. But intake varies each year (That's the catch). Past three batches had 52, 39, 46 students admitted. So nothing is fixed here, as quality is given utmost importance. Prepare well for your interview, and refer the previous posts for information regarding the fees.

@MANC-LONDON- Yes the second list which was out after 2 weeks of the release of first one had lowered the cut-offs. This caught me by surprise. I had a pm from some one in PG.
See, in the campus today we have a good number of people who had scored above 90 percentile in their CAT appearances. So, by lowering the cut-off to such a number, they are actually demeaning the value which these people chose to leave behind to put BITS on more par. Since the department has some long term plans for MBA program, they choose CAT. I would very clearly state that your scores would be very relevant this time to make through. Also, your other skills would be considered. I have known the recruiters of BITS being a member of PLACECOM, and it therefore please leave no scope of apprehensions about the quality intake. It never was compromised with BITS HD test, and we don't think they will do it this time. Prepare well. We know we are strong. We have been making it count on all the events across management circle. Scepticism should be put to rest hence forth.

@MANC-LONDON - No we cannot give you the average package. There are many ways in which people calculate averages - like weighted means , packages offered , packages taken, number of offers based on final converts, median.. blah blah. Its in the institute policy thereby not to give such figures. There is a pdf file in our possession for MBA which institute gives for internal circulation to aid the pitching for campus recruitments which clearly states that use of those figures on public forum could lead to disciplinary actions, thereby posing a threat to our acads. You should understand that. And lastly, we are more than happy to have people who are interested to join. If you are skeptical, please re-consider your decision. ATB!

@Apex_Predator - photocopies are what you are told to bring. But bringing originals for interview will look good. Only Once their PS converts are known, complete placement details would be shared.

I am expecting technical questions bcoz of the research pub. Do they ask questions related to india's economy? or topics such as microeco and macroeco since they wr taught in collg. Also do they ask about preferred mba specialisation?
@Mansi.sf - Since CAT scores, work ex, gd/pi, 10th 12th, graduation percentages are give due weightage, you have a fighting chance to convert it. Prepare well on your plus points- As you have been to Nasa competition, research pub. Prepare well on these fronts. Typical questions like tell me about yourself would be asked. Based on that further questions will be asked. Since you have work ex, you can expect some questions on your job too. Follow current affairs, Read newspapers regularly. Get basic information about current business environment which will help you extremely. No they don't ask. They might ask you which area you are interested and reason behind it. Spl is a choice of yours. You are eligible to opt to any spl here. there is no restrictions from the university as it has a extremely flexible system

@pj15 - Please make a call to the admission office regarding this. Timings during which they would be available- 9-30 Am to 12-30 am and 3 pm to 4-30 pm.

Cutoff's at 70%ile..I had BITS call at 98%ile but now m actually planning to skip the GD/PI process altogether..@prashanthrpk though I know BITS j taking through CAT for d first time but ppl in yor batch too must hv given CAT besides BITSAT so can you tell me the average CAT %ile of your batch..
