I have booked 12:30 PM slot of 9th Feb. I am planning to book back journey train which is at 7 PM on 9th. Would that be good? Will everything be over by atleast 5 PM so that I can catch the train

Most probably it should get over by 5.30pm. But we cannot guarantee it as this point of time.Also it will take atleast 1 hour for you to reach the railway station from Hinjewadi.

First of all, it isn't feasible for the institute to give you the exact figure of the ongoing placements. Because, it is ongoing and we would need to wait for the entire batch to be placed before giving you an average !! 😃
The director has written his blog entry to applaud and express his happiness about the current ongoing placement scenario, and not precisely to project the current placement figures.
Also, the admissions team is here to assist you for your admission related queries in order to make your admissions process as smooth as possible. The team is neither credible, nor obliged for anything. 😃 I hope that's clear.
Excellent research and reading done by you. It seems that you'v been browsing thru PG's SCIT thread for the last few years, so if you notice the academic year of the link you have posted, it is information from 3 years ago, and you would probably be joining SCIT (godwilling) this year, which would make the data and all the information FIVE years old by the time you graduate and get placed. 😃
My suggestion at this front is to concentrate at the task at hand, the process leading to your admissions and to begin preparing for it. 😃
@srikanthm1987 We have to keep the copy of Resume also or the documents are sufficient.Or Data we have filled is already with them in hard copy at the time of PI.Thanks in Advance
The details you have furnished as part of your online application for the institute would serve as your resume, but it would do no harm (or maybe even be helpful) if you carry one of your own, in your own format.

@srikanthm1987 thankx.....i'll surely need ur help more than anyone else as i have very less options left with me , ....btw, someone had told me that since i had studied C programming and DBMS during my BE , i should have good grasp over them, but the problem is i have been working in a core sector, and its really not possible for me to go back to my engg books ,so pls tell me should concentrate on studyn those subs or conc more on my current job which is associated with electrical stuff?
As Srikanth mentioned, there are a number of students with no background in IT who have managed to secure admissions and have done well at SCIT. The fact that a candidate does not have any IT experience but is still interested in SCIT signifies that he/she is interested in pursuing a career in IT Management. So, in order to successfully secure an admission, you need to be sure about your stand and also be sure about why have you decided to alter your career path. Moreover, being a B-School, there wouldn't be much emphasis on your proficiency in Programming or Database, etc. It would be more on your overall understanding and interest in IT, your personality and you as a person. 😃

Instructions for GE-PI are as follows: 1.Report to SCIT on the selected date and time. Dress code : Formals. 2.Show your SNAP ID at the registration. 3.Please bring your Photo Identity card to prove your identity and 4.SNAP TEST-2012 Admit Card for the GE/PI. Please bring your 1.Original Mark sheets and Certificates of 10th, 12th and qualifying bachelor's degree along with two attested copies. 2.If you are yet to appear for the final year degree exam, please bring your original mark/grade sheets of the previous years / semesters along with two attested copies. 3.Original documents and two attested copies each for any qualifying category such as IT related work experience, reservation category (SC/ST/Differently Abled/Kashmiri Migrant) Candidate needs to complete the following process. Hi, AS i have mentioned earlier.The course is IT Business Management.Hence you need not worry too much about prior Engineering knowledge and technical subjects.If you have an interest in IT and if you put in good efforts you can cope up easily.
