You'll be tested on your writing skills as well as the knowledge on the topic . So, both play equally important role i.e. the content as well the language in essay writing.
On the other hand, your verbal skills and domain knowledge would be tested in the PI and other group activities.
Hi guys,I wish to apply for PGDITBM course..! Plzz guide me abt this course..! Can any 1 explain me wat is dis Credit system in terms of PDGITBM course.??thxx..!
Hi Manoj,
A credit system is a system in which each subject you study has a weightage(points) which is known as credit. So for PGDITBM course the total of weightages of all the subjects you learn in the course would be 50 points. Generally each subject is assigned a credit of 1 point or 2 points. This system is used for your CGPA calculation.
Hope this answers your query. For more details on PGDITBM, please refer: http://www.scit.edu/pgditbm.php Go through all the tabs under this link to get the complete insight.

Hi Manoj,
As per our governing body - Symbiosis International University's rule, 1 credit point = 50 marks. So a subject having 2 credit points will be evaluated for 100 marks. Out of these 100 marks, 60 marks would be for internal evaluation (conducted throughout the course duration) and 40 marks would be for external written exam conducted by the University.
As with the placements, support will be given by the Placement Cell to the students pursuing the course.

Also that the composition of internal evaluation may be and not limited to presentations, Mini-projects, individual and group assignments, class tests, class participation etc.

As per CBSE/ICSE , after clearing 10th and 12th, we get a marksheet and a passing certificate.
Another question- After my GE-PI at SCIT I have my ge-pi at SITM, Lavale the next day at 8:45 am. So, what do you suggest- should take an accommodation near SCIT or SITM as my ge-pi there is early in the morning?
