I would suggest you to stay near SCIT because Lavale campus is on the hill , where you might find accommodation as well conveyance issues. Staying in the city has an advantage that you can find cabs easily.

@deepalityagi Having GD/PI on 7th feb for SCIT. They mentioned to bring two attested copies. Just wondering if those copies are signed by my HOD(Computer Engineering), will that do? Ours is a government college.

Hi,
Attestation can be done by the Principal of the college.
Apart from them following is the list of people who can attest:
Grade 2 gazzetted officers of Govt. of India.
Grade 1 Officers include:
1. Govt. Officers holding posts of Under Secretaries and above.
2. Judges of any court (District/High/Supreme)
3. All doctors CURRENTLY SERVING IN GOVERNMENT HOSPITALS.
Grade 2 Officers include:
1. Section Officers in any Govt. Office.
Notary can also attest.

I hav heard tat dis is 1st yer tat SCIT startng PGDITBM course. I am applyng for it but lil bit worried abt its placement becoz since this is 1st yer no 1 has any idea abt how will be the placement system , wat roles will be offered n wat packge will b given...?

can u plzz assist regardng same..?

Since its the first batch could some pls shed some light on Placements. Would the PGDITBM have combined placements with the MBA(ITBM)??

If yes then as per my understanding we would get started with Placements mayb 2-3 months after we join the colg that wud b so strange !!!

Hi Manoj,

As this is the first year of inception of the PGDITBM course, we do not have any placement statistics for this course. But for a reference you can check the MBA ITBM placement stats and info, as PGDITBM placements though to be conducted separately will be on similar lines. Also that there would be only experienced students in the PGDITBM course, so we are expecting good profiles to be offered.

Hi Prakash,

The Placements for PGDITBM would not be conducted with MBA-ITBM course. We are expecting PGDITBM course's placement season at a later stage.

Hey i have been called for GdPI process at SCIT. I have selected 10th Feb as the day.
But i dont have me original degree with me as i was unable to attend the convocation.Rest all documents i have original . What do i do?? I do have the provisionl degree and all marksheets of all 8 semesters.

Hi Manoj,

No doctor can guarantee the success of an operation. Similarly no college guarantees placement. It all depends on your learning and performance here @ SCIT. But I can assure you that same type of placement assistance will be provided to the PGDITBM students as provided to the MBA-ITBM students. So we feel that MBA-ITBM placement stats would be an apt guidance.
