Your profile looks decent. This year due to the percentile system it is difficult to predict the cut offs and your final conversion depends on both your SNAP percentile along with your performance in GE-PI.Hope this answers your query
All the best..!!
I would like to know the ratio of number of applicants to the number of shortlist. Also, how is the final score calculated? I read somewhere on the forum that the SNAP score is reduced to a certain ratio. Would like you to elaborate it a bit.
Thanks!

At SCIT we follow the legacy of holistic learning, and this is not only said in words but pretty much proved by the team from SCIT who won the SAP BizTech 2012 - Demo Jam organized by SAP at Bangalore. The team was awarded a cash prize of INR 1,00,000 and an invite to Global SAPPHIRE at Orlando next May. For more details, refer the link:

First of all , Sreesharan.S is busy with his academic activities so he wont be able to reply for now.
Last year 1200 candidates got a call for GE/PI.
Parameter - Marks
SNAP score - 180 Marks scaled down to 40 Marks
Attributes (Based on performance in Class 10, Class 12, Graduation and relevant Work Experience) - 20 Marks
Group Excercise - 20 Marks
Personal Interview - 20 Marks
Total - 100 Marks

@darshan.m said:Hi , First of all , Sreesharan.S is busy with his academic activities so he wont be able to reply for now. 1. The number of applicants shortlisted varies every year .Last year 1200 candidates got a call for GE/PI.2. The final merit score will be calculated based on the following:Parameter - MarksSNAP score - 180 Marks scaled down to 40 MarksAttributes (Based on performance in Class 10, Class 12, Graduation and relevant Work Experience) - 20 MarksGroup Excercise - 20 MarksPersonal Interview - 20 MarksTotal - 100 Marks3. As you can see , the SNAP score is scaled down for the final merit list .This is done to give proper weightage to the overall profile of the candidate and not just his/her SNAP score.Hope i have answered your queries !!

Hi,
Last year's Cut off for SCIT was not disclosed...Also the Cut offs vary every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper...This year there is a percentile system hence it is difficult to predict the cutoffs...
All the best!!
