I mean come on, should i get some popcorns n njoy the fight or should anyone fu**ing care about mental state of us students after readin this all..All things said by learner makes it look like he actually knows it and I can also understand and appreciate the due replies of deepali and other college/staff students. It all ultimately jeopardize our future n concerns, Please get it right. yup few days back some one posted a a old link with something similar and after wards the link was removed instead of solving the doubt it created more suspicion if @learner28 is wrong put the data to prove him/her wrong ,if u ban him or report him than i think u will be following Mr.Pony Tail 😛

All the aspirants who are worried about this anonymous posts 😃 few points I would like to mention:
As you all must be aware, Symbiosis has the tagline of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" and we have our staff and management from all parts of India and different communities. The culture here at Symbiosis institutes is never specific to any community. For that matter, even the students here come from different states and countries. Whatever community or state the student is from, doesn't really matter to the institute or its staff. The best example here is that I'm part of the Placement Committee here at SCIT and let me tell you that all the students who are part of the placement committee here are from different states & cultures and importantly no one from Kerela 😃 !
For your information, CRISIL had rated SCIT with an A*** (A Triple Star) grade at the state level and A** ( A Double Star) at the national level in the year 2011.
There is too much exaggeration about the fee and the packages, I would advise you all refer to the website for the right information.
The placement season is still under way, so once the season is over, the placement statistics for the batch 2011-13 will be updated. As of now, the numbers and statistics look great

. IT Business Management is a niche specialization which is very specific to Information Technology and it is very different from Marketing, Finance etc. So it depends one's interest to choose the specialization.
There are too many false allegations about threatening and declaring ineligible for placements 😃 . I wonder how can a person with 8 years Industry experience is this bad at vocab, grammar and spellings 😃 #FrustratedSoul :)
Everyone is wise enough to understand the fact that a company, one of BIG 4 consulting firms cannot/won't take any individual without any interview 😃 !

We all have come a long way to reach here after spending considerable amount of time & money. Its going to be every individuals personal call to take admission, after all. Lets carefully evaluate the situation and take decision.
As said correctly, it could be a desperate person within but situation still remains same. take calculated risks in life and look forward to turning it into an opportunity. Hold on your breaths for a week.
SCIT should publish the list ASAP and conclude the matter. More the time, more filth will flow because situation will degrade each time there are Vibhishan within.
Lets not be pessimistic.

After reading all such heavy discussions, i wud just expect a small favor (from the aspirant and for the aspirant.)
Please do publish the list(at ur convinience) in including details of every student like name(culture disambiguation) and package/company and job profile...
being aspirant we are beliveing the institute, so institute need to do ths small effort for our satisfaction and plz dont jus publish highest and avg figure...!!
no need for the present year,atleast put the stats,name,package everything....
i think the last year list could be given.......that much scit can do

I really am counting on SCIT coz for SIOM I again hav heard stories that they don't prefer CS engineers @ time of intern and placement. I just have these two options........................Gosh !!! this is tough now.:(

Placement Statistics for the current batch is expected to be put up on the website on 28th of feb which will give a clear picture of the placements for the current batch.
The Profiles of the current batch of students is on the website..their work experience..name etc..You can check it out in the following link.
