See for this year, they have released the percentile and percentage scores(percentage scores are as the percentage of highest marks so obtained of all appeared in that particular section )I can relate it with mine :

Percentile : 93.692

Percentage Scores :
General English : 31.110

Quantitative : 85.630
General Awareness : 29.230

Analytical & Logical Reasoning : 75.000

So, its hard to predict the max. marks scored by any individual but CL has done it perfectly right. Suggest you to go to it and register yourself (2 min job, jyada ni) 😃
http://www.careerlauncher.com/examcorner/index.jsp

After logging in, will give u SNAP Calculater which will rightly calculate your score.

For me it was
General English : 10.5/40
Quantitative : 34.25/40
General Awareness : 9.5/40
Analytical &
Logical Reasoning : 43.5/60
Total came : 97.75/180

Now this is the score the Institutes are scaling down (out of 40). For that,
180 Scaled down to 40 ( scaled max SNAP Score) : division factor 4.5 (180/40)
so marks Scaled down SNAP Score obtained : 97.75/4.5 = 21.72

So i secured 21.72/40 while having a percentile of 93.692. I have verified it coz Result of SIMC-P has been announced and they realeased the same score too to second decimal point.

Lemme know if some help is needed :P

A complete answer. Thanks a lot, although I realized that all I care about is if I were selected or not..

as i heard from some senior during my ge-pi (11th feb which was last day for ge-pi) that around 400 turned up in total for the ge-pi....not too sure was he correct or not

but 18000 or 1800 is way too high from what i asked that senior
anyways, the D day is near so all will get their answers

@er@chetan
thnx for the CL SNAP calculator
accd to that I have got 15.05/40 which in all likelihood seems to be correct.
