[2013-2015] SCIT Aspirants Queries and Discussions

@srikanthm1987 Even I completely agree that 2 years are not for fun... If any faculty gives punishment to any student hearing music in class... etc... is perfectly correct ....we go to college for gaining knowledge...Infact am strictly against misbehaviour of students in class... also learning 2 years prepares you for the corporate world... But only sad part when you are deserving ( I mean you clear your academic criteria) candidate and don't get placed due to differentiation created by Placement coordinator (SAVITA NAIR) and top of that non deserving candidate get placed... on the ground that he or she is mallu... is really astonishing.....I know such candidates who are not short-listed by companies on campus but one fine day everyone comes to know that he or she got placed even after having poor academic records... only because either he/she was part of PLC team or they were mallu....this really sad... and I believe there should socially negative thing....
waah re bandhu.. hamaare saath jo ho raha hai wo hamse zyaada tumhe pata hai? industry me 8 saal kya SCIT pe research kare ho? saala hamari problem hum bata rahe hai socha ki tum sahi me student ki help karoge... sukhi to na madrasi hai na PLC me hai to uske fir bina interview ke kaise plasement hua?

bhaiyo... yaha to mauka hi nahi mila... logon ko to chance pe chance mile ja rahe hai... yaha na mallu, na PLC tumhe kuch ni bacha sakta... yaha jo jaada GD me uchalta hai aur chillata hai ussae naukri milti hai... ya to jiske sarkaari tallukaat hai ussae milti hai... bechara suggu - wo mallu nahi hai? wo to PLC me bhi tha pehle.... fir bhi saari dunia ki company se laat kha lia hai... bhai yaha bass company waalo ke joote chaatne waale ko naukri aur baaki jo nahi talve chaat sakte wo bekaar...

@visionIIM-ACL : Have a look at the discussion and ruckus going on. Calls for a ban/warning/suspension on some users for sure!!

Dear All,

Politics will continue even after placements, in the company u join. Its part and parcel of life. We cannot keep grumbling around always. We need to concentrate more on our goals and work towards them. Today you are taking a hit tomorrow you may be a success. And if you are really deserving, politics cannot stop you always from succeeding.

The point here to make is,

1 Is SCIT Good at its curriculum and teaching levels ?
2 Are they having proper facilities, faculties and will to deliver the best ?

If the answer to above is yes, than there should not be any concern to joint. Its purely your approach towards gaining education and inter personal skills which are required to turn tables in your favor.

When they impart you proper education, you should be capable to find your dream assignments in the world and " GO KISS THE WORLD "

Regards

Hi Sonal, Well, I dont see any harm/problem in a fresher going for the MBA. Infact, you must visit at any college's website and check intake w.r.t student background. You wont be surprised to see majority(%) joining are freshers only.

See, MBA is just a tool to showcase the world that you can b a valued entity, worth investing. College doesn't ensure success my friend, its you yourself who decide, shape and mould your life ahead. So it wont matter a lot, if you are a fresher or experienced.

Go with full swing to hit it over the ropes 😃 . Best of luck.

I dont know exactly but can narrow down a bit. My friend also inquired the same and that's what he told me :

Total Management Intake : 15 percent (not sure)
Fees : Double of Regular Course ( Apna Sapna Money Money !! 😛 )

Process : No College will take management request directly from students/parents. For that you have to go through Symbiosis International University and call/mail them in this regard. If you are from nearby place, would suggest you to personally visit them in working hours.

I guess some senior/faculty can give you more specific and accurate info. This is just what i could summarize.

Hi,
If you look into the profiles of the current batch..there are many freshers who have opted for an MBA...It basically depends on what your career goals are...If you are looking for a role of a business analyst /Consultant kinds of roles..then MBA is worth going for..because normal graduation in engineering or any related IT degrees wont fetch you these roles easily...
Also people who go for gaining some work experience first have their own reasons for doing so..namely to get knowledge of the working of the IT industry...eventually they go for MBA for career growth...
I suggest you plan your career goals...and think of where you want to be 2-3 years down the line..that will help you in your decision making..
Hope this answers your query...
All the best...!!

It is completely up to you to judge what's right and wrong for you. 😃 And i notice a change in weather from "tensed" to "confused". Lets hope that turns into "positive" and "optimistic" 😉
