plz clarify whether this needs to be done before joining or at the time of joining?
And boys hostel is inside the campus or outside?
Candidates are admitted provisionally to the MBA ITBM program at SCIT under SIU on joining SCIT. Candidates will need to apply for getting final eligibility certificate from the Symbiosis International University. It is the responsibility of the student to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualifications for admission.

Alright, So the issue at hand - some of you WANT the placement stats, some of you DON'T. What exactly do you want the college to do ?

Can you please be a more elaborate. Meanwhile, coming to the point I have highlighted in the quote above, what makes you allege that those who have been placed are the "cream" of the batch with good acads and good CGPA? 
FYI, there are those with average CGPA's who have been placed successfully and also those with REALLY good CGPA's who haven't been placed. Please do not make such statements if you do not have accurate information. 😃
And, SCIT did not put out the placement stats as a marketing gimmick. The interim placement stats are published every year in order to give some clarity on how have the placements been so far, as compared to the previous year. And trust me, this isn't SCIT's "peak high" or anything 😃 These aren't numbers with 5-6 recruiters. There have been 28 companies on campus as on 28th Feb, and more companies continue to recruit students.
A little more positivity would be appreciated at this juncture.

The institute does not stop you from opting for an off-campus placement. You can opt-out at will.

@knight1012 Peace ...i am no way intrstd in defaming the colg or doubt the credibility of the colg in placing the students,but still a bit amazed when you wrote SCIT's "peak high" when the highest package offered has come down to 11 and no of companies visiting the colg till date is mere 28. I agree the placmnt season is still not over but frankly do u still believe the highest package to cross 11 mark when only couple of months are remaining, the same goes with the no of recruiters, looking at the current trend do u expect the recruiters figure to cross 38. On a nut shell if ur highest placmnt as well as the no of recruiters compared to last yr is taking a hit the college can not be said to be at it's peak high. correct me if i am wrong

I hqve been selected for the admission to SCIT. But if I have to get education loan more than Rs. 4 lakh from any of the bank, they have some conditions regarding minimum income of my father and also they need some property security. My father's monthly income is just Rs. 6000 a month and we dont have over own property that has valueation that matches to bank requirements. So I am not able to get any loan, not even from Syndicate bank. We are trying hard to get it by other ways too but nothing seems to be working out. Can you please guide me what other ways I can get the loan? Can institute or university provides me a loan for study to SCIT?

srikanthm1987 even credelia aks for co-borrower with minimum 30000 of income. that is also not in my case. can you suggest nyother options?

This is an Online Course. The Credentials of the same will be shared once the fee is paid and the course will start from March 19th 2013.
