if one does get an interview call, it is approximately how many days before the interview date?
I see the interview dates from Sep -3 Nov. Are the calls given phase wise,as per the interview location?
You shall get at least 5 days' advance notice and not more than 10. Interview calls are sent in the order that applications are reviewed on a continuous basis. Please review our blog on the interview and prepare in advance.
I wanted to clarify a minor doubt about photo upload.
Do we need to get the photograph scanned and upload as per the A4 size document (like by putting the photograph in the middle of A4 size sheet) or just as it is in its normal passport size?

Normal passport size is fine, so long as you are clearly visible.

There is no target or cut-off GMAT score. Incoming classes typically have GMAT between 600-800. Please showcase your interests, passions and objectives in your application using the essays and other elements of the application as it is vital for us to understand whether an applicant has leadership potential and is aware of their personal strengths & attributes. GMAT scores do not tell us about these attributes. Feel free to call our admissions advisors to discuss your MBA plans.

The choice to apply or not is yours :) We look at applicants holistically as ISB believes people succeed because of their strengths and in-spite of their weaknesses. Your career to date would seem to indicate this truth. You seem to have a range of interests although it is important you also think about your non-academic/non-professional interests as well. Please call our admissions team to discuss how to make a strong application.
Dear Sir, I am planning to apply in R1. I had applied in R2 for co2014, was interviewed in January and could not get admit. My interview was quite below the mark as I was too nervous to have a meaningful discussion with intw panel. I feel this was the primary reason for not making it last year. I am planning to apply this year as well and there are significant changes in my job responsibilities and i have worked hard on improving my interview skills. but most of other areas of my application are same as in last year app. I do not foresee any additional changes for next 3-4 months in my profile.
Does ISB expect significant changes in all areas of the application? additionally, does reapplying after a gap of only 8-9 months viewed too early by ISB?

If you were interviewed last year, there is good likelihood that you would be interviewed again. I am glad you have prepared more for your interview. Please do not worry about being nervous. Take time to compose your thoughts if reqd during the interview. We understand that it is normal to be a little nervous. It is fine to reapply the next year - it shows your persistence and willingness to improve.
Please feel free to call us to discuss how to approach the interview.
In the application instructions it is stated thus regarding evaluations -
Evaluations: Names and contact details of evaluators. Please make sure you start the process for obtaining evaluations/recommendations in the
ISB format
as soon as possible as it takes some time for your evaluators to complete and submit the same. The evaluations need to reach the ISB by the deadline you have chosen to apply for.
However the mail sent by ISB today states that '
Your evaluators can still send in their evaluations even after the Round 1 deadline.'
Hi, I had a question about the bridge to India scholarship. Can you confirm that it is available to international applicants of Indian origin? Thank you,
Evaluators email, other details needed to be entered by15 Sept for R1. As applicants do not necessarily control when evaluators may fill in the evaluation, we accept the completed evaluations until 1 week past the deadline date.
Please do not wait until the last moment for elements of the application as incomplete applications cannot be evaluated until all elements are received.

This scholarship is available only to Non-Indian passport holders of Indian origin.
-I am working with a software firm for 3 years now, and was promoted last year to a senior role. In the application's 'Employment details' section, should i add two details: one for junior role (2 years) and one for the senior role?
I ask because if i add two details, in the other one the forms asks: 'reasons for leaving the job', since i've no 'left' the job, please guide me what to do here.

Appreciate any quick/confirm help.
You can create two entries and mention reason for leaving : promoted within same company
I read that the profiles sharing similar number of work experiences are compared.
If a candidate has written total number of work-ex inclusive of Full-time, part-time, trainee and internship period, does ISB compares the profile based on number of years indicated by the applicant OR does ISB first makes an assessment of what should be accounted towards the work-ex (in this case it can be a number lower than what the applicant has suggested) and then compares with the equivalent profiles?
I learned that ISB is conducting an Info-Session at Delhi on 22nd Sept'13...Needed to know what actually is going to happen there....I understand what Info-session means but it will be really helpful if you can tell me what actually will going to happen there...Because I am planning to come to Delhi from Jaipur just to attend this infosession...since there won't be any later in Jaipur or Delhi before the Second Round Application Submission Date Ends...
For international applicants, can you clarify what does rolling admissions means? If they apply between september to november, will they fall into R2 category? Or will they hear back within 3 weeks from date of submission about short listing?
