Yes, you should be fine. Please call our team of admissions advisors to discuss if you have further questions.
Hi, I was filling the application for second round. In education details for year 12th do I have to fill both class 11th and 12th marks or just the class 12th marks. I am asking this because the instructions say that
"Please enter details for your Class XI and XII or High School Diploma." so I am bit confused.
While I understand the reason of 'limited' seats, what i could not understand from rejection of my application (and a few more similar to mine) and a review of the same from current and former students at ISB is that why ISB is not clear at all in giving specific reasons for rejections. It strongly comes out from the review that ISB is not preferring candidates with greater than or equal to 10 years of total experience. If that is the case why in the first place you accept applications from such candidates which turns out to be nothing less than a waste of time, effort and money from the applicants part and give undue stress due to a lost hope?

I am not quite sure if PGP programme will add value to my current profile.
I have 11 yrs of exp in IT industry, around 3-4 years in managerial role.
GMAT - 710.
Could you please share your thoughts? and also what kind of opportunities/roles I can expect after completion of PGP?
I know about PGPMAX, but I would like to take up full time course.
Please call our PGP admissions advisors to discuss 1800 103 3234 or 040-2318 7474. Your question is too generic but an important one. All MBA schools like candidates who have thought through why MBA makes sense for them and how it helps them achieve their personal & professional objectives.

We appreciate the effort that every applicant puts into their application. However, strong candidates are those who are able to sufficiently demonstrate the three attributes we seek of Leadership Potential, Well rounded Personal attributes, & Academic capacity. In each class we have good representation from students with greater than 10 years work-experience and such mature candidates have a great deal to add to the classroom learning experience at ISB.
I encourage you to reflect some more on the possible areas you may not have been able to present a strong case for yourself as in our case the overall application matters a lot. Typically we expect more mature candidates to be clearer on their takeaway from an MBA program. With all due respect to the students & alumni you may have spoken to, they are definitely well meaning but do not have sufficient information regarding the school's admissions approach.
Please feel free to call our admissions advisors to discuss ANY admissions related questions & possible areas you may need to work on from an application perspective.
@ISB.Admissions ..Incase Undergraduate college provides both %age and CGPA in two seperate sheets..then which one to use CGPA or %age during filling up the application form? ππ

I have got an admit for ISB Hyderabad Campus with Rs. 5 lakhs scholarship. I want to ask you a specific question. I am planning to take a 1-year study leave from my company to attend the PGP programme. However, that would also mean that I have to serve the 3-month notice period in my company after completing the ISB PGP programme. If I get a placement in ISB and I choose not to return to my company, can I ask my employer to defer my joining by 2-3 months so that I can serve the notice period and get the relieving letter from my pre-ISB company? Is such a thing allowed in ISB? Also, what is the usual joining month of companies that come for placements at ISB? Is it april or may? Since the course finishes in March end, I would ideally like to go back to my previous company during April-June and join my new company in July.
It sounds like you need to discuss with your current and future employer more than ISB π The school would not get involved in such matters. However, feel free to speak with a career servvices officer once you join to discuss your options. Joining dates would vary by employer and are usually discussed between the employer & joinee as per what works for both sides. It is normal to get some time off post the program.
Dear Sir, I would request you to please explain what exactly is looked at in a set of essays. I understand that this is one of the shortlisting criteria for the interview at ISB. Thankyou..
this may seem to be a trivial question .. but nevertheless, i hv noticed that this year under Educational Information, there is no detail to fill , the degree/certficate for class 12 ? Unlike last year , where one could write Intermediate of Science etc.

As we get closer to the application deadline, I hope you have done some introspection to collect insights about yourself, your goals and your plan of action for achieving them. Today, I will share some thoughts about how you can present that information in a cogent and convincing manner.

Is this OK or there is a problem at my end ?
This is as per design of the application. There is no problem on your browser etc.
Can a student with 75% academic average and a year and half experience in banking services... have a chance of getting into ISB ?
If he has a good GMAT score.?
And how do academics play a role in the PGP application?
At the time of joining the program, if selected, all candidates need to have 2 years of full-time wkex. If you have less than 2 years of wkex and are sure that you want to do an MBA, you can apply through the Early Entry program we have started this year. Other than that we examine your academics and GMAT to determine whether you can handle the academic intensity of our program. There are no cut-offs on GMAT or academic grades. Your application essays and depth of personal interests & involvements tell us about you as a person and about your leadership attributes. These latter qualities are critical to our selection process as we seek driven, focused, engaged and well-balanced people in the ISB classroom.

I'm an ISB aspirant. I've a work-ex of 2 yr & 5 months, in a PSU. My grads major was Electrical Engineering an my work-ex is core sector ( designing of industrial equipments). Throughout my acads I've been having 88.2%, 80% & 80.8% in X, XII & Engg respectively. But my GMAT score is 490. Though ISB doesn't mention any score cut-off, can you suggest me if I can opt for applying ISB R2-2013 and if there is any chance for such a combination of acads, work-ex & Gmat score ? Kindly let me know such that I can submit my application.
