I have a question about the MBA degree vs the diploma. I have heard that ISB/ IIM's offer a diploma rather than the recognized MBA degree. Can the students/alums of ISB/IIM pedigree use MBA as a title or as the highest education received ?
Hello,I got an e-mail from ISB saying that the last dates for Early Entry Option have been changed. And moved from Jan 15 to April 30. Can you confirm this ?
Does this mean that I can attempt my GMAT safely in March and then apply before April 30 ?
Also, one more query, I currently have 1 year and 6 months of experience. I'll be completing my 2 years in June. So, if I get admission through EEO, I can join directly for the PGP course right?

Yes, 30th April is the deadline for Early Entry. However, if you apply by 15 Jan your application review & interview if applicable will be conducted earlier.
If you are completing two years work experience by June 2014, you are eligible for admission to the academic year 2015-16, i.e., class starting April 2015.

ISB is not allowed to award an 'MBA degree' as we have not sought regulatory approval for this in India. However, the PGP in management is accredited by AACSB and is considered equivalent to an MBA degree in all respects by employers & higher education institutes (including PhD programs at US business schools) in India & overseas. While it is our understanding that this situation is similar to some other PGP programs in India, you may like to clarify regarding such other programs from respective institutes.

Dear Sir,I studied for AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING COURSE WHICH IS A LICENSE COURSE of 3 YEARS Duration ( LIKE COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE ,APPROVED BY GOVT. OF INDIA).Presently I am working in PAWANHANS HELICOPTERS LTD, MUMBAI ( A P.S.U COMPANY) FROM MAR 2011.Since A.M.E is not a BACHELOR'S DEGREE COURSE, I have done B.B.A( In Distance Education mode) and finished it on June 2013. Although, I have almost 3 years of total work experience, according to the eligibility criteria of after graduation experience, it is reduced to less than 1 year as of now.So please inform me when shall I be eligible for PGP Admission in ISB Hyderabad?

From what you have described, you can apply currently under Early Entry Option (deadline 30 April) or after another year of post qualification work experience.

Is it a mandatory to provide these documents.Can we submit last salary slip and joining/appraisal letters instead.

TOEFL is not required in your case. Most India educated candidates do not require TOEFL.

Dear Sir,I was going through the information provided on the ISB's website regarding merit scholarship and found that this year 110 candidates will be given this scholarship. Can you please tell me how does the selection happen for the scholarship across two rounds? Do equal number of students, in both the rounds, receive this scholarship?
The admissions committee awards merit scholarships based on the merit list drawn up in each round. Scholarships are awarded at same time as the offer is made. No, we do not endeavour to provide equal number of scholarships in each round. From our experience, we typically award more scholarships in round 1 due to number and strength of applications.
