Hi. I've a basic query regarding the Early Entry Option.
Hi. I've a basic query regarding the Early Entry Option. Will all the students be having less than or equal to 2 years of experience in a class of Early Entry Option? Or will this batch be combined with the normal application process class?
How different is the treatment for people from Early Entry Option?
How does the
Early Entry candidates will join a future PGP class only after they have completed 2 years workex. Hence, no one in the class will have fewer than 2 yrs workex.
Hi Sir
how much acads participate in admission process of ISB.
My acads- 10th- 76.50%, 12th-70%, graduation-84% .....work ex-3 years in reliance power.......extra curricular- national level chess player and national level dancer.........is this profile ok?
Hello Sir,
I will apply this year for ISB. My GMAT Score is 730, IR score 8 and AWA 5.5 . I have a work experience of 3 years as of now in NTPC Limited, a Maharatna PSU of Govt. of India in the field of power generation. My designation is Asst. Manager (Control and Instrumentation). I am very good in academics and was the gold medalist of Electronics Department in my B.Tech degree from NIT,Bhopal in 2010.
However, I am from a very humble background. My father doesn't earn anything at present. He is currently aged 71 and is a heart patient on constant medications. My parents are totally dependent on me. I have two elder sisters who are already married. A MBA from ISB will leave my family without any source of income any my parents will have to solely depend on the meagre family savings. In this context, I would like to ask that what should I submit as an income proof for my parents since they don't earn anything? The application portal says that if my parents are home-makers,I have to just upload a copy of a self declaration that my parents don't earn anything mentioning the reason for the same and the time when my father stopped earning. However, for sources of income like rent in which parents are homemakers and still a little income comes from rent, how should I demonstrate the same?
I would like to mention that my father stopped earning in 2009 when our family business was closed due to some unfortunate circumstances but we used to get a small amount from rents and my father used to even file income tax since last year. However, currently we do not even have rents and my parents' income is zero. So, what should I upload as proof of income? Both self declaration and income tax return of last year or only the self declaration?
As you can understand, sir, I really need scholarships. What is the amount and number of need based , merit based and diversity scholarships given by ISB for the batch of 2014-15? Do you think I stand a chance of getting an admit and scholarship? Also, will self declaration work for demonstarting financial need for Novartis Scholarships of INR 4 lakhs? Also, can you kindly inform what is the maximum amount of scholarship (combining both internal and external) that a student can theoretically get? Also, I have heard that some students get their entire fee waived. Is it true and if yes, how is it possible? It will be great if you ellaborate a bit more on this
Thanks in advance for your support

Financial means is NOT a consideration in the evaluation of an applicant. For specific documents that may apply in your case please write to app help@ isb . edu [no spaces]. I would encourage you to call us to discuss your candidature and not be discouraged by financial means considerations.

Our selection process is a holistic one - we look at your leadership potential, academics and other personal attributes to determine your strength as a candidate. It is not possible to comment on chances without reviewing a completed application. I recommend you take time to reflect on some of the achievements and attributes you bring and convey to us through your essays and other parts of the application, how these attributes make you a strong candidate. To get some thoughts on how to make a strong application please feel free to call our admissions team for a confidential discussion.
All the best.
Dear Sir,
I have a few quires regarding Early Entry Option.
1. The application end date for EEO is Jan 15, 2014, does that mean I should only apply by then or can I apply along with the normal applicants through Cycle-I ?
2. Now if I apply through Cycle-I and if I go through the process, when will I be called for the interview? Will it be along with the EEO applicants or Cycle-I applicants?
3. Will it make any difference, applying along with EEO, or is it the same?
Kind Regards,
Suraj Raparla.
Do you consider mat????
Dear Sir,
I have two specific questions.subject to an admit from ISB...
1. Can a student be a part of more than one professional clubs? ( for example onsulting club+Net impact club?)
2. If one cites 'entrepreneurship' as a long term goal.....do u expect him/her to have a business plan in mind while writing the essays?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Dear Sir,
Hi Sir,
Also my 12th passing certificate is of 2008 but the improvement marksheet is of 2009 both issues by CBSE

€‹Yes, you can be part of more than one club. You will however need to balance your involvement given other commitments and initiatives while in the programme.
While a complete business plan is not reqd, it is important for entrepreneurs to demonstrate that you have thought in some depth about your customers, your value proposition €‹your differentiator, your market size, etc. This demonstrates how important this goal is to you. We understand that you haven't been to b-school yet so a full scale business plan is not required.
Dear Sir,I just wanted to confirm if completing 2 years of work experience in July 2013 makes me eligible for the PGP 2014-2015 admissions, or will i have to go through the Early Entry option. Also, is there any specific benefit in applying in Cycle I? Will i realistically be able to finish the application formalities by september 15th if i write GMAT by the last week of August?
Thanking you in advance
‚Ź €šYou would be considered for entry into class joining in 2014, as we count your workex until 31 March 2014.
Applying in Cycle 1 gives students more time to plan for starting their MBA - ie., employer notices, moving to Mohali or Hyderabad, etc.
You should not wait for your GMAT scores to start the application - our application requires much more than just your GMAT scores. The essays and rest of your application require you to take time to reflect and prepare well thought out responses.
Hi Sir,
In my 12th i scored 59% but then next year i gave improvement paper of cbse and my percentage got improved to 64 . And for that i have a certificate also issued by cbse. So while filling my form for ISB, will my 64% be accepted. Also my 12th passing certificate is of 2008 but the improvement marksheet is of 2009 both issues by CBSE
€‹
We will consider the improved %. However, you can show the year of passing as 2008.

€‹You can apply earlier. However, your interview shall only be done with Early Entry applicants. While the application process is the same, early entry applicants will be assessed against their peers and not against other PGP applicants who have more years of workex.

Hi Sir,
Hello Sir
The website says 'Early Entry Option is open for applicants who are fresh graduates/post-graduates with less than 2 years of work experience. '
What is the exact date before application rounds begin that you consider to count the number of years of experience?
I will complete 2 years in August this year and the first round of applications start in September but I am interested in getting a deferred admission with another year of experience before joining the PGP program. Can I apply in the Early Entry option?
Thanks
Prachi
Hi Sir,What if I started filling the application form now onwards, and somehow if my application is not complete before round 1, will it be considered for round 2 or will it be considered as rejection.
€‹Unless it is submitted it will be available to you to complete for cycle 2.
