From where I can get free mocks for gmat based test.

Hi Neha,

I'm Deepthi. I'm a software engineer. I have planned to give my GMAT in the month of May or June. But I'm totally confused regarding the preparation strategy. I'm desperately aiming for a 750+ score and so I want my preparation to be outstanding. Any guidance from you regarding the materials which I will have to religiously follow will be of great help.

My mail id is deepthijyothish89@gmail.com

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I have a question on registration and am sorry if this is not the right thread.

Can I register for the GMAT in India with a debit card or is a credit card mandatory?

Are there any other payment options available?

Thanks.

While registering for GMAT, we are supposed to fill in the GPA for our undergraduate degree. In my university, we had a percentage system and the scores obtained henceforth weren't scaled. So in my case I had an overall score of 74.3 (out of 100), yet I was among the top 10 in my batch (the topper's score being 84.7). But when I convert this to the 4.0 GPA scale, my score comes out to be a mere 2.4, which gives a really wrong picture of my overall academic performance. Please suggest if anything can be done about it.

Hi @skashwin We suggest you start by downloading GMAT Prep. It comes with two practice exams. Many students find it useful to take a practice exam in order to identify strengths and weaknesses before mapping out a study plan. You can download GMATPrep for free at www.mba.com/the-gmat. As for a timeline, while there is no one study strategy that works for everyone, you may be interested in this research on how long test-takers typically spend studying. http://www.mba.com/mbacommunity/MBA_com/b/officialgmat/archive/2012/04/19/study-smart-for-your-best-gmat-174-score.aspx. Good luck!
