1. As of now, CAT, NMAT, IIFT has come up with notification. Other than this, no individual college has come up with the notification yet. It will start coming from September 1st week or may be August last week. Stay tuned to this site.2. There are few college whose deadline will be before exam, for few it will be after exam and for rest after Results. So you need to take a call. All the Best.. !!
Do u know which all are the few colleges which we need to beforehand? like, considering the trend in the last years.
Also, What is the criteria for TAPMI? Just CAT score?
@avinashkrjha Hi, I have read in one of the MBA portals, that the last two academic years, ALL the students of the batch has minimum 70% marks in their 12th board exam for FMS Delhi. Is it really true?

1. MDI, XLRI, XIMB, GIM,etc have last date before the exam. Few have last date during the CAT Window or few days after CAT Window. Like NITIE, Fore, MFC/MBE, SPJAIN, etc.
2. Now TAPMI accepts XAT also along with CAT Scores.

Can you provide the link of that portal. I don't think this will be true.
I'm trying hard to get good scores in mockcats but quant is letting me down..so working on that...
which all colleges should I apply to..?Please suggest...
Thanks,
Adi
Seeing your academic marks, you are eligible to apply to almost any B-School in India. Now seeing your mock scores and your expectation level from the college, you can apply to various colleges.
Since right now there is lot of time left for individual colleges to come up with notification, I suggest you to prepare hard and analyse your performance in mocks in the coming days. And then take a call just few days before CAT Examination. You can get back with your mock scores on this thread and puys will def help you.
But do register for the exams : CAT, XAT, IIFT, NMAT, CMAT, SNAP.. All the Best.. !!

i dont know taking direct names will be a problem or not, anyways its "mbauniverse"... their 2012 ranking -> FMS -> Student batch profile expand button and voila, this info. Hope i didnt misinterpret it.

I saw the link. But then it is better not to believe. And even if you have less than 70% in your class 12th exam, I would suggest you to apply to FMS. Cut off through CAT last year was 98.73%ile.
First of all please see that no one here is good in profile evaluation for a college. If we had been , then we would have been somewhere else
Anyways, you have good acads and you should try to maximize your score to strengthen your chances to the best. No one can guarantee that whether 98 should be a suffice score or not.
But, in my opinion, even if it would have been suffice, one cannot guess in exam that how many correct will ensure 98 percentile, so one will try to do the best possible. So, go ahead and take the paper to get the maximum possible and not worry much about whether 98 would suffice or not.
To score the max is definitely the goal. The only reason I made the post was to get an insight on the admission prospects, as I have little idea about that. Thanks for clarifying that right now we should concentrate on maximizing the score, instead of pondering on other things. :)
Is there any Cut-offs for X and XII marks for IIMs??
There are no cut offs for X and XII marks for IIM's. But different IIM's have different weightages allocated for X and XIIth marks. You can check the same on their websites. All the Best.. !!
Hi Puys, i was supposed to take XAT this year for a suitable college, but turns out most of the colleges i want to apply to require only GMAT as i complete 2 years out of India and this will make me an NRI.Could anybody please advise if its mandatory that an NRI can only give GMAT scores or can give XAT scores as well.Furthermore i have to pay the fees in US dollars which is a further hurdle for me.If anybody has come across a similar case, please do let me know a suitable solution.(pls redirect me if posted this in the wrong thread)
and i am scoring around (85-92) 90percentile in aimcats . which b-schools shld i apply ???????
I think you have got a pretty decent profile. But as far as your work ex is concerned it is not going to add up to that much by the time you join any B School.
85-92% range colleges are
FORE, FORE IB, KJ SOMAIYA(last year cut off was 90.xx), TAPMI, MHROD(last year cut off was 93), IIT Kanpur, BIM Trichy,IMT GZB DCP, LIBA(last year it took CAT score also) et al.

If you really want to do MBA then apply in as many colleges as you can. If you are giving it a second thought then that means you are still not sure whether to go for MBA this year or not. I know IIFT has very very few seats but still it is worth giving a try :).
