I'll be appearing for IIFT, SNAP and XAT
I'm interested in Marketing management or retail management.

We all know the results will be coming out later and no one can predict my future scores. How can I apply at B-schools whose deadlines are coming up without having an idea about the type of score I'll get?

Can Anyone list the colleges for which we have send the print of application forms and other details by post to respective colleges.

I mean all thlose collges in season-12 which involves postal formalities.

@avinashkrjha @ajaygovindg I did check with the Helpdesk thread. They themselves aren't too sure at the moment.

However, they have mentioned about a notification that appeared in the Hindu on 15th Nov.

@avinashkrjha seniors is there any specialization like "IT and operations" where ppl can learn SCM or other end to end product delivary, project management and also use their 2 yr work exp in IT like knowledge about insurance/BFS domain, and other basics that one learns in initial 2 yrs in a IT services company like cts/tcs/wipro ??

Based on your Mock Performances, your expectations from college and a rough idea about your performance in CAT or roughly how you are going to perform in SNAP/XAT etc.

1. Make a list of colleges you are applying to.

2. Go to the respective websites and open the details.

3. You will get to know if anything is to be sent by post or not.

4. If you are not able to find out, get in touch with Helpdesk Threads.

6. Get back in case you are not able to find out for any specific college.

Both the specialization(IT & Ops) are available in most of the colleges.

And you can learn all points that you have mentioned in your post.

@Kangroo Based on your number of attempts in CAT, you can calculate your raw score and then an approx. %tile based on last year trend (raw score to %tile). So accordingly you can choose institutes to apply to. Since your grad score is bit on lower side, you may want to look out for some institutes which give lesser weightage to past acads.

@saikatha You can think of doing a dual specialization in Operations and IT and leverage your 2yr IT work exp to move into the profile you're looking for. But then getting into such a profile will be up to you, to make the switch/jump. You may not necessarily get the exact profile you're looking for from a B-school. You may either end up getting in Ops profile or IT/Business Analyst kind of profile. A combination of both will be yours to pursue and achieve.

I have appeared my CAT on 15th Oct 2012 at 3.30PM slot.I have attempted 20-SecI and 25-SecII with 80% accuracy.Following are the details of my profile.

10th-80.0%

12th-69%

BTech(Mech Engg)-74%

Work Ex-48 months(in a reputed IT company)

Mock score avg(TIME)-85%le

I am reallly interested in Finance.This is my 3rd attempt in CAT.I have also appeared for NMAT this year.Expecting calls from NMIMS Bang and Hyd,but not Mumbai.Is it worthful to my experience.I am in dillema to which Bschools I should apply for.Can any body help me to sort out this problem and let me know list of Bschools I should apply based on my profile.

@avinashkrjha @ajaygovindg Puys, I mailed the TAPMI admission cell personally and according to the AICTE notification in the Hindu on November 15th, GMAT scores will not be entertained by TAPMI. Confusion cleared!
