That is not the reason.

Either the colleges that you have mentioned have deadlines post CAT Results or they are through some other scores like CMAT, XAT, etc.

As i told already that through XAT, you may apply right now to XL, XIMB, GIM.

FYI GIM is Goa Inst of Management.

SRCC GBO has it's own exam.

Sydenham is through CMAT.

MICA will have it's own exam.

Great Lakes require a 2+ yrs of work-ex and cut off is in 90's.

I won't suggest VIT Vellore until and unless you don't convert anywhere else I suggested and doing MBA is compulsory.

LIBA, NIT-T, BIM-T, etc have deadline post CAT Results.

Most likely yes.

Being a fresher and having avg acads, you can expect a call from SPJAIN only if you can manage to score very high %ile.

@fazer55 You have to register and make the payment before the said deadline to get the 400Rs application fee waiver.

hi all,

couple of doubts in application of SPJain
1) this time SPJain has announced that there will be seperte calls for profile based and score based. Now, my question is do we need to select whether we are applying throough profile or score? or is it the insti that decides the case?
2) While applying, the area of specialization has been asked. Does that mean i will be given that area if selected. or do i have the provision of deciding my specialization after the course starts as in other colleges?

Sir can you plz inform me, how good is IISWBM, Kolkata. M nt able to get a lucid view abt this institute. PG has ranked it at 79th position n still it the cutoff is 80%ile. It is worth applying.

Whether its worth applying or not is a choice you'll have to make for yourself, based on your criteria, what you're looking for from an MBA and what the institute has to offer.

With this sort of profile,can i expect a score based call from spjimr,provided that i score 95+%ile in cat......plz help

@TONYMBA Your acads are a bit on lower side, you're a fresher and no extra ordinary achievements (which is something they look for I believe). I would NOT recommend applying to SPJIMR because as per eligibility information given in their website at http://www.spjimr.org/pgdm/admission_eligibility_selection.asp "Kindly note that even in case of score-based calls, the candidates profile is taken into consideration."
