@c13shashanka raw score of 90+ (30+ net correct) will take u above 95 percentile,.... 5-6 wrong wont affect you,... if more than 8/16 wrong u'll be in trouble,.... hope for the best
"raw score of 90+ will give 95%ile" ... guess thats a bit over-optimistic. i will be more than happy if thats reality, though most of these are well-intended conjectures only. Afterall even i expect something in that range for myself. hope mine is not a spam post.

last year 88-90 gave 91percentile,... and 104 got 97 percenile.....
this year QA was on very slightly hard, 6-8 marks drop expected,...
last year the attempts were 50+ in many cases, average range 48-54,.... this time average range is 40-45,....
@harrypotter24 CFA is an internationally recognized certification. Clearing CFA levels will definitely be given due credit in the selection process. But as far as I've heard Level 1 is not considered that tough and significant. But yes definitely Level 2 will be considered significant interest in Finance domain. Also you can expect lots of questions on why Finance, finance concepts etc. in the interview.
CFA will not be considered part of your academics like CA etc. It will be considered an extra add-on or co-curricular in your overall profile.
How can anyone say that X raw score gave Y percentile? I appeared for CAT first time and I think the CAT scorecard gives you the cumulative score and not the raw score .. So just merely taking a ratio of their respective maximum marks doesn't exactly give you the raw score because we don't know how normalization for a particular candidate taking the exam on a particular slot has been done .. Or am I missing something here? Please enlighten me and a lot of us here who am sure would be confused about this...
acads play a comparitively lesser role in institutes like IIMC, IIML,FMS,MDI and IIFT..however...going through interview experiences, the panel is surely going to question about the low academics scores...soo practically speaking what are the chances of any one with poor academics converting calls from these institutes?has it been done before?if yes how often?
@harrypotter24 ya thr is a fair chance of converting into top bschools with low acads only if u do exceptionally well in CAT , GD/PI . low acads can b compensated with high CAT score n excellent performance in GD/PI

guess CAT is not the sole saviour here... i mean good XAT or high score in NMAT coupled with sane GD/PI will do the job as well. One knows that XLRI/XIMB/NMIMS are top b-schools and not CATTY!!
@anji3 If you are 50% leadership..... Top 20 will take you 90 and rest colleges will take you to 85.In acads, all the colleges are almost same (Yeah almost due to difference in Faculty).....But you can always overcome top 20 college students by " Maximum Reference Coverage""Study Group of Serious Students""Simulation / Role play of Managers in present scenario of Company / Govt. ""Networking of strong alumni base"etc.....
Quite funny,,,,!
College gives opportunities and help u keep focused,.. its u, who have to improve yourself, even if u join, IIM-ABC,....
