@addaa no one can rate others slots dude, You can rate your own slot.. but you cant tell about other slots rite..!
One thing is for sure, the level of toughness has increased!!
Mine is 29th evening slot, I was literally crying staring at the Q's.. Lost hopes there itself.. :(
@applelover BHAI mera bhi 29 tha!!!!.......faaduu tha quant saalaa!!!
@addaa Everyone would say "My slot was the toughest dude! QA/VA was so damn tough" 😛 :P

Unless you yourself have taken exam in all slots it is not possible to compare! 😁 It is totally subjective. One slot tough for an individual may not be so for another. So you can't generalize.
@arsharora yeah exactly, mera bhi.. OMG I never expected it to be like that.. Nightmare.. 😞 :(
Lets wait for the results.. each slot being so different.. I donno how they normalize it (If it really exists :p)
@ajaygovindg
ajay man if a person is working in a BPO after engineering...does his experience doesn't count...specially in colleges like NITIE...IIT'S etc...please reply....
@biswas.maxpayne The percentiles people quote here are in the first place not exact percentiles! No one is Paul the Octopus here buddy!! :D

The percentiles being said here are only an approximation, to help aspirants, i.e. YOU, decide which institutes to apply to. 😃 Your actual percentile may be in a range of +/- 3-4 %tile. And how we tell the approximate is based on last year's trend (raw score vs percentile).

you are correct
it is the most bizzare question yaar
even cat authorities can't tell
@kshinu16 Any FULL TIME work experience AFTER graduation will be considered in any B-School. If your work exp is less than 1 yr then it might not be considered significant. And also for any work exp, what you'll need to be prepared for is learning from there, and why MBA now?
@ajaygovindg I have work ex of 13 months in service sector already...but as my preference is Operations only and if i will not get a chance in some great OP colleges then will may be wait and prepare again...so thinking if i join a BPO this year and then give it a shot...will it hamper my chances...shifting to BPO after service sector...?
@kshinu16 Anything you do in your career should have a reason and you should be able to convince the interviewer (a layman from your perspective) how it is going to help in your career ahead. You have an interest in Operations/SCM, so then why move into BPO sector? If it is Business Operations that you are interested in, then there are many leading IT organizations which offer that, so you may want to try for that.

If your decision to join BPO is thinking you'll get time to prepare for CAT, then I don't think it is going to help you much. Even BPO work is hectic and demanding. And considering I'm an interviewer I will not be able to understand the reason/purpose for this switch (on first looking at you resume/profile), and so the question will definitely come in the GDPI stage.
@ajaygovindg
I was working in service sector so there was so much travelling in that....and baki sector main naukri ka koi chance nhin mil raha...I was totally frustrated with that job and there was no growth in that...I was not getting chance to study at all....and Electrical engineer ko IT organisation main kahan se job milegi...with no knowledge of IT
@ajaygovindg You misunderstood my point sir, I was reading posts here where people mentioned about their percentiles with respect to their raw scores in the previous year of CAT .. How is that possible? Do CAT provide raw scores or scaled scores on the results? what you thought was something different which was an estimate of percentile based on an assumed raw score one strives to seek this year ..
@kshinu16 Ask around here in PG itself, and you'll see Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, BSc etc. and lot of other graduates in IT sector doing coding! 😁 There was/is a popular saying about a board on the gate of one of the leading IT company campus - "Trespassers will be recruited"!!! :D

Go ahead and apply to the IT companies! And IT doesn't mean just coding. There are openings in Pre-Sales, Sales, Business Operations, Analyst and so many other profiles up for grabs in IT organizations! :)
@biswas.maxpayne You do get scaled/normalized scores out of 225 (sectionals) and 450 overall.

kindly help..... nirma--fms bhu--xiss ranchi

@ajaygovindg Yes I know that , but there's no way to know what was the raw score correlating to those scaled scores so it's by no means possible to know what raw score yielded what percentile for the past years .. Am I right?
