Not any ranking as such .. but mostly top 20 govt colleges and top 20 private constitute top 40 for me (including IIMs)

check out PG ranking or time ranking or Cl ranking .. check which colleges consistently appear on top 40

Try for top 40 buddy .. India is a harsh country to get good jobs post an MBA from wrong place :)

I dont want to do it from MENA region, as job placements are a main concern for me. So my focus is on 2 things 1 it should be somewhere between 25-35 lakhs and decent chance of job palacement. It would be very helpful if you could advice me.

your range is very high 25%tile is like 50k people

@akki2711 - u can surely expect around 90%tile. Except XIMB(pgdm) u can expect call from every other college on ur list.
With 103, u'l get a call from all the 3 scmhrd, siib n siom.
U decided yet wt u want to specialize in..?
@sayanfrndz - u can expect around 85%tile. Go for FORE, LBSIM, nirma, K J somaiya (IB), IFMR, GLIM, We- school..
@shek90 yep...marketting...i dont have ny attraction towards finance...I also prefer hr..and being an engg. operations..too...wat wud u suggest according to u wud be the best college to persue..?? also i filled ximb pgdm and pgdm-rm thru' cat and pgdm hrm thru' xat..so wat can be xpected?
@akki2711 If that is so, then i'd prefer u to remove IIFM (niche course), Nirma & IFMR(both good for finance) from ur list.
@akki2711 - cant comment on xat as of now. But 85%tile+ with va- 80+ & quant- 75+ in cat will fetch u a call for pgdm(hr)..

@akki2711 IIFM is like no other management course. Exceptionally good, highly recognized.
Just that u should have an inclination towards forest management.

@shek90 have complete inclination towards forest n rural too..irma's result overall clered but quant's section cutoff messsed up..but ximb's rm is still open...n iifm too...!! wat about placements of iifm? is it really 100% with avg salary around 7..?? and job satisfaction after dat??
