W.E.(as on Aug '12) - 32 months in a service based Tier One software company.

1. Check this out : http://www.pagalguy.com/forums/cat-and-related-bschools/2012-which-b-schools-should-you-apply-t-83927/p-3594168/r-3607915

2. Suggest you to apply to the colleges with CAT Cut off 85+

3. Through XAT : XL, XIMB, GIM, IMT, TAPMI

4. Through SNAP : SIBM, SCMHRD

5. Right now, you can apply to only those colleges who have deadlines before CAT Exam. ATB.. !!

K.J Somaiya has got tie ups with international colleges and gives the chance to go their and study. They have both exchange and dual degree programs.

FORE gives the scope of study tour.

SIIB has tie up with BSEL for dual degree.

ATB!!

1. Since you are getting a Mock score in the range of 70-80 %ile I would suggest that you take a margin of +5% and apply to colleges.

Some colleges which admit through CAT and you might want to apply to are:
1.K.J somaiya (IB)
2.LIBA
3.FORE
4.IMI(HR)
5.IFMR
6.LBSIM
7.NIRMA
8.Welingkar

Haven't heard much about these institutes.

For rural management, IRMA is the best college followed by XIMB.

@sirius273 no idea about KIIT but edi gandhinagar is good if you want to pursue entrepreneurship after MBA.

Both dont have a very good ROI. I would advice you to go for IRMA, XIMB (RM) ,XISS,IFMR (DSF) if you are interested in rural management.

HELLO,

I DONT INTEND TO PROMOTE MY COLLEGE, BUT JUST FOR INFORMATION FMS -BHU PROVIDES MBA IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TOO AND AT THE SAME TIME ONE CAN SELECT SPECIALIZATION IN FINANCE, MARKETING, ETC.

IT WAS ONE OF THE PIONEER INSTITUTIONS TO START WITH MBA(IB) AND TILL DATE IT IS AMONG JUST FEW WHICH GIVE YOU A MBA(IB) DEGREE, MOST OF THEM ARE GIVING PGDM.

What was the CMAT cut-off for JBIMS last year? I gave CL CMAT -FLT-1 and got 166/400 .. Dont know how much more improvent is needed..What should be ones score if one is aiming for JBIMS and is a non-maharastrian candidate? Can someone throw some light ?

Can someone tell me about the CMAT cut-offs of GIM and JBIMS in 2011? I gave CL CMAT FLT-1 recently and got 166/400 . How much more do i need to improve? Also how many marks would be sufficient for a non-maharashtrian candidate to make it to JBIMS?Kindly throw some light...

1. No cut off for JBIMS that I know. As far as I know, there is a common procedure for all the Maharashtra Colleges and you get Ranks after GD/PI (common). You get college based on that Rank.

2. GIM Cut off --> 198 marks

3. Try to improve and go beyond 200. ATB.. !!
