1. Yes, you need to apply twice.
2. There is a charge of extra 500 bucks for every extra course/exam you apply for/with.
1. For GD/PI Call --> It's based on CAT/XAT Scores only.
2. For Final Call --> Exact weighatge is not known to me. I guess it is not revealed. You can confirm it with XIMB Seniors. But there will def be some weight given to profile like your work-ex, past acads, etc. But major component of weights will be the GD/PI Performance and the Written Score.
@avinashkrjha: sir my 10th marks are 91.6%, 12- 93%, grad- 84.74%...last CAT attempt- 88.4%le
Moreover am appearing for TF mocks and these are the general scores i am getting:
Sec1: around 78-85 %le
Sec2: around 94-97%le
Overall: around 92-94 %le
Purely based on this info how much can i realistically expect to score in CAT this year. Moreover please help me with the list of colleges i can apply to as a backup option( those who call in the range of 85-92 %le).
@avinashkrjhai am perplexed by my poor academics..my academic details are as under- 10th-70% 12th-65.25% BE-62% till 6th sem do i have a chance to get calls from the iims and other top b schools if i manage to get a good score in cat..also i would like to know how much score should suffice in getting the calls from the top b schools... also please tell me the colleges which do not give much emphasis to academics. if i score well in 7th or 8th sem any benfical for me ...plzzz help guys basicly dey call me on my current acedmic so any bcnfet 4 me if i score gud in 7th or 8th sem nd how????? plz help me

1. I had already replied to this earlier. Had told you few colleges as well to target like MDI, FMS, etc.
2. If you score well, it will def be benificial. Trust me or not, but good academic record helps throughout one's life.
3. Do not get worried about acads now as it is past now and you cannot change it. Focus on scoring as high as possible in order to get the call. If you score high, you are sure to get calls from all top b-schools except for may be 3-4 colleges.

1.) 10th - 79.4
12th - 74.4
B.E - 69.4
Work Ex - 8 months till now
Getting above 95 percentile in mocks(almost consistently)
So whichl colleges should I apply for?
I mean I know that I can go for FMS, MDI and new IIMs. But other than that which IIMs can I apply for amongst BLACKI. And please mention other notable B schools like SJMsom, FORE etc. I really don't know much about the colleges part just trying hard to crack the CAT first.

ou need not to pay any extra money for applying the IIMs.
So apply all IIMs (while filling CAT form). Other than IIMs, you need to fill forms for all other B-Schools. U may keep these in your list: MDI, FMS, NITIE, SJSOM, DMS-IITD, SPJIMR, XIMB IMI, IMT, IIT Kgp etc.
And if appearing other exams line XAT, SNAP etc, U may try XLRI, SIBM, etc

n also i hv 3 yrs gap in academics due to academic issues and physical issues.
i knw i dnt have the decent profile.with this would i get the chance to getting admission in top b-schools or should i apply to the top b-schools?n if i score a decent score in cat.then is my profile will be the barrier of getting a good b-school.im in dilema.pls help me out what should i do?n oine thing i hv to do mba for the placement reason n career switching reason.n i wont be consider a yr loss.pls tell whch exm i should go for or whch of the b-schools i should apply?
