The last date for most of the B-Schools will be after your CAT Exam.

I suggest you not to think about colleges right now.

Focus on CAT. Get back on this thread or to me via PM after your Exam.

Hey, we cannot suggest colleges like this.

You need to tell us your rough mock performances, your expectations, etc as well.

Anyways, right now you can focus on your CAT Exam and get back on this thread after that.

plz tell me which clgs shud i apply to ..preferably the clgs which take CAT and XAT score.I am weak in VA section so the percentile is nt increasing.n plz also tell what are the future scope if i do mba in IT branch ..will it be confined to the technical stuff or their is any other dimension to it .
When will the notification for IIT which took CAT score last year will come

1. Notification for IIT's will start coming from December and they will have last dates after CAT Results. So you can decide to apply for them after your CAT Results.

2. Being from OBC Quota would def favour you. You should def apply to colleges having OBC Seats ---> FMS, MFC, MBE, MIB, MHROD, NITIE, etc.

3. Apart from that, I suggest you to apply to colleges with Cut Off %ile in the range of 85-95.

4. Through XAT, apply to --> XLRI, XIMB, GIM

5. For cut off's, refer --->

6. MBA in IT has a good scope if you want to work in IT Sector. Some of the options for MBA (IT) are ---> SPJAIN, IIT's, NITIE, etc.

Dont even think like that , if you want to make a career in a good IT firm and good role , Take admission in any of the good colleges

IT companies dont look at specializations when they recruit..

my acads r nt good n i have no work exp also so will that affect the calls even if i get good score
i dont want to make a courier in IT that is why i have not joined any IT company .I want to be absorbed by some NGO or an organization like that n want to wrk in the rural environment .
So shud i join an IT company to have work experience because many said having a work experiances increases ur chances of getting a good college
Plz rply sir ..I rly have passion fr wrking in NGO n owing one of my own n for that reason i want to get best exposure n best of knowlg in that field n that i can get in the best clgs so plz help me sir

Don't worry about anything right now. Just focus on your CAT/XAT Exam.

Freshers stand as much chance as work-ex people for selection. You only need to justify all your answers with genuine points to the interview panel...

Just check all the posts on Page no 2 of this thread. You will find one post with cut off's for most of the Top B-Schools.. !!

SNAP --> SIBM, SCMHRD

XAT ---> XLRI, XIMB, GIM, IMT, Tapmi

CMAT --> JBIMS, Sydenham, KJ-SOM, GIM
