Buddy, Screw the Past now and focus on what is in your Hand.

Give your Best in CAT/XAT/SNAP. You stand a good chance in most of the B-Schools if you score high.

All the Best.. 😃

ok sir...thanx fr ur valuable advise.....

@ut23 Friend, academics are one component of the selection criteria and not the only one. Though accepted that you have an average academic record but you can always overcome that handicap by impressing the interviewers with various other aspects such as having great presentation skills, good command over communication, keep abreast with the latest happenings which will help you in putting more firmer points in your GD/PI and many more such things. One thing I would request all prospective candidates is that never let any one single handicap or shortcoming in you to believe that you are out of the race. None is perfect and we are perfect with our imperfections. As the classic saying goes - Ultimately those who win are not the one who are strongest, but the ones who believed they could. So believe and you will make it to your dream b-school. Cheers !!! :)

1. Browse the last 5 Year Q Papers of SNAP.

2. Browse the SNAP GK Material of TIME/CL/IMS, etc.

3. Check the current affair news of 2012 on Internet. There are few good websites. You can follow the PG Thread on GK or SNAP GK.

4. Read newspaper everyday. Editorial is a must.

5. If possible, Read Economic Times. You can get an insight into Business Related News.

All the Best.. :)

As far as I know, Acads is not a big factor for FMS Delhi.

So, Go Ahead & Apply.

All the Best... 😃

@avinashkrjha

commendable job u r doin..thanks a ton..vl definetly go for fms also..who knws wht happns next..

@avinashkrjha Kindly help by telling what is the percentile requirement for NIRMA, FORE & LBSIM? How good is Bhartidasan as compared to these? and what is the cut-off percentile? Earlier was expecting to reach the 90-95 percentile mark(AIMCAT average 70 percentile), now aiming lower as i am going nowhere in my mocks... n losing some sleep over CAT prep.... plus there is this tension of which bschool and which not!!

Last year Cut Off's

Nirma --> 80 with Sectionals as 50
Fore --> 85.42
LBS --> 83.xx
BIM --> 86.xx

Comparisons not allowed on this forum..

Buddy,

Suggest you not to Aim Low %ile. If you are scoring low in AIMCAT, that doesn't mean that you will score low in real CAT. There are examples wherein people scoring low in mocks have scored very high in Real Exam. But all you need for that is belief in yourself that you can make it Big.

So trust yourself and give the exam with a Positive Attitude. All the Best.. :)

@Akmbaspirant Please do not get tensed. Be relaxed, focus on the CAT and nothing else and give your best shot at the exam. You can expect a call from the mentioned institutions at around 85-93 percentile. Comparisons of the institutions are not allowed on PG. If you have any specific query with respect to BIM, Trichy please feel free to PM me. Do not be so much concerned about mocks, just ensure that you understand and analyze after each mock you give. They are a great way to learn and understand our mistakes as well as strength and weakness. So, do not panic and loose your sleep, be composed and everything will fall in place. For any queries you can always revert here. Cheers !!! :)
