i am in final year,pursuing engineering.. as per the last year experience do the panel grill engineers in economics as well?little bit of knowledge is sufficient or its required to have depth in it. one more thing in the interview if they asked me y i want to do mba rt now..what shud i tell?truly speakin,i want to finish the studies at one go..is this answer ok?? advice
ok....well I confirmed about ur qs from the engg.....according to them it depends on the panelists....one of my frnds who got our economics lecturer in her panel was asked in depth about economics...whereas others were asked superficially...me on the other hand was not asked at all about economics(tho im not an engg...)... they've suggested u to study well about ur branch of engg cos all of them were grilled on their respective branches.. as about, "why u want to do MBA"....ur ans might be very true but DO NOT speak tht....for a simple matter of fact tht ur statement wud mean tht ppl joining with work-ex r fools and the panel mite tk it negatively.. one fact to all aspirants....though the interviewers look for values and truthfulness...some questions are better answered in a diplomatically correct fashion....so think of some beautiful and "unique" answers to such questions...

ya....7 lacs is avg CTC...but my frnd it does not boil down to 20k per month in hand....altho it varies from company to company in respect to the CTC and in hand salary but theres generally a difference of 1-1.3L in tht which means ur in hand salary still sums up to 45-50k per month in hand!!!and its surely a huge sum for avg....highest CTC has been 12L as stated...

2006 data is for our super senior batch....the batch of our seniors is 2007 batch the dta for which is currently not in mandatory disclosure......IT is not a new specialization, however theres no one under IT becos it depends upon how many students opting for IT.since FORE offers dual specialization also, the total number of students has to be atleast 12-15 opting for IT(either as major or minor) for the course to run for a batch...operations and HR are 4 and 9 respectively becos the data shown is according to number of ppl who took it as major....there must have been others who took it as minor also to make the total go beyond the minimum requirement...and hence theres no data for IT currently... companies from IT sector such as accenture,infy and TCS are regular recruiters from FORE however they had to settle with ppl from mark and finance as they did not want to lose students from FORE....... as said FORE ROCKS....

dont worry....i never read books either...I hope u havent written it in ur form though as then u surely wud get qs......it all depends hw u guide ur interview and if successfull u can guide it away from leading to qs regarding reading...however being in touch with the newspaper is a must...tht too preferably ET!!!

u can take up flights however, i know its not feasible for all as the last moment flight rates r too high sumtimes....so, call up the admissions office to confirm if it can be adjusted....and if they agree, they'll ask u to mail, but dont go to sleep after tht...keep a track till u get the new date and time....

FORE's programme is fully recognized by the AICTE and has been running for the last 15 yrs now.....so u dont need to worry about tht.....FORE has its very own space and is also cumin up with a new campus at gurgaon, tho ur batch mite not hv the previlige to b shifted there....so go ahead without ne worries abt it!!

no thats not y i was askin..i thought if GD/PI starts some days before(23) then i can have a luk at some of the experiences of the students and an overview of the process this time.

hey... guys this is regarding the queries for ppl who hv there university exams on the day of their gd/pi....u can call the admissions office and ask for a change in schedule..it will be considered but you will also have to produce a letter from the university regarding your exam dates....for other ppl with d dates clashing with other gd/pi....very little chance for the shifts..almost no......so weigh the colleges b4 deciding which one to attend or else try to get the other gd/pi shifted bcoz FORE is very particular with its alloted dates....
