yes the link is working..well i would like to hear from seniors abt the companies which recruits operation manager...i saw the batch profile and only 1% of the students choose operations management as their main field..is this is just bcoz of very limited future prospects...
wats the scenario at FORE regarding the placement(operation management)??

hi...
c at any given time u cannot change the mind of the ppl who don't want to opt for operations...if you are interested then u mite opt for it as all the ppl who r really interested in it do...regarding the placements i hv already told that its more than 100% with most of the ppl getting multiple offers(which is allowed in only a few b-schools throughout india)...so be assured that ur going to get some of the best offers at campus acroos india.......one more thing first try to convert the call then think about all these options...

first round of gd/pi started today...interated with guys/gals on the campus.....the topics for today were SEZ and other was the west bengal controversy...
so guys fight tough...best of luck

my GD/PI process got over today at FORE.....

The ppl there are really cool.....

we had a Caselet to discuss in our GD......some thing related to Nithari and steps which should be taken to avoid such kinda incidents.....

i participated well in the GD but i personally felt that i was not able to wrap my points well.....

and interview was also too cool kinds.....it lasted for some 10 minutes only.....they asked some questions regarding my educational back grounds and the reasons for scoring low during the first year of my engineering.....

i would have loved if they would have asked me a few more questions.....

so Forex & ritesh....what do u ppl think how i performed.....

first things first..yes we are cool......
secondly..i need ur overall profile to make any further comment bcoz the decision is going to be influenced by all the aspects...and remember it is always quality not quantity that matters so it shud not bother you dat it was a short pi ..but it shud be a good one

hey...
its a post for ppl coming to FORE for their final round of process....report b4 time...the gd/pi are being conducted in room no 1,2 and 3 which are all on the ground floor on ur right wn u enter..markers are their to guide u through...for the verification of ur documents u will be supposed to go to the auditorium which is in the basement after ur gd's probably..but b4 ur interview...
guys just chill out...give ur best..and hope to c the best of you on the campus soon

one more thing to add on to dat...
guys the panel consists of three ppl...but one of them will be some corporate person .. sm1 high in the corporate hiearchy...so always remember that the panel will be one of the best u can imagine....
they will be a tough nut to crack.......but be prepared accordingly.......bcoz i guess the corporate ppl tend to check more practical skills..so be ready with sm very good answers...

i scored 91.7 %ile in CAT...( i was asked about this thing twice during my interview)
i am in the final yr of my engineering in IT.........
average acads and above average extra currics....

gud academic record....
gd/pi was average.....
pi was ok.....answered the technical quess well but
screwed in gk quess....

wat r my chances of getting a final call....

c like i hv been interacting with ppl on the campus ...mostly the percentiles are around 94+....frankly i can't tell how u managed on the day wn they asked u about ur percentile(in which sense they meant it?)...but anywayz hp for the best .....
