hey guys ... just like sidgo... i also have zeroed in to FORE...
Seniors.... plz tell...."how is FORE in marketing and in the recent placement sessions
at FORE what were the different profiles offered to students of Marketing...
i have heared that not many ppl got profiles of their choice"...it will really help

wut uv read on orkut is correct except the the floors for guys and girls were swapped this year cos 1 floor has more accomodation so depending on the number of girls and guys that register, they keep changing that...both floors have arnd 5-6 1BHK flats...as said-apartment system...

FORE has its major strengths in marketing and finance depending on the market trend...for eg for our super seniors the highest packages and the trend was towards marketing followed by finance...this year for our seniors its been vice versa where finance is leading followed by marketing and as the trend seems finance mite be ruling next year too but then too its nuthin to worry...i myself have taken marketing as specialization as the college has nuthin less to offer in either fields...the placements r majorly governed by the market trend!!

probably if we wud have put it as an attachment, dividing the same cmpanies sector-wise...quoting wuts currently quoted in just a different style then i think u wudnt have felt that ways.


2006 figures are definitely available on fore's website... Check out the Mandatory disclosure man ... It could have been updated to accommodate 2007 figures. The point is not how you provide information... my contention was just that the official website is the place to provide that. period.

hey..
yes der is a HR stream at FORE..in addition to dat we also hv a sysytem of dual specialization ..
HR as other streams is fabulous bt we don't hv many ppl opting for it...dis year we hv probably around 12-15 ppl for it(mostly gals)...regarding placements..you don't need to worry about it once you are in FORE..

In what form the study material will be given to us? means in Standard printed books or customised instruction materials?

I just wanted to know that do we need to be present physically for registration or someone else can do it on our behalf. Would joining letter and salary slips be fine for experience proof.

I am sorry but i ma repaeting the same question. Whats the average packege. The site only mentions the highest not the average.

hi samta you need not to present physically for registration anybody can do that for you but you need to send your signed form which you got with call letter with that person and some of the senior above told its 6.25 or something like that

I don't think so that we need to produce our experience certificate now...even if that is the case our latest salary slip would do 😃

hi..well study pressure depends on hw u take it..no doubt der will be a lot of pressure..ur classes will be over at 1:30 in the starting bt beleive me in just a matter of few days u won't be able to leave d campus b4 evening....u won't be hvng classes on saturdays..
regarding the study materials..u will be getting text books from d institute itself..they r included in d fees..in addition to dat u will be getting case studies,reference materials etc in abundance...u will hv more materials and less time...
welcome to FORE..be ready to face d hardest 2 yrs of ur life...
