hmmmm means loads of work at FORE

So plz tell me and others who are going to join FORE this year, about the life at FORE specific to students's interaction with Lecturers, Professors, Selection in various student committees, Participation in National level quizzes etc. from a student's perspective

Also what is the criteria for lateral placements at FORE is it based on previous experience in the field or just work experience in any field?

Sorry for repeating the question asked in this thread : what about uniform: we need to wear it all five days a week or just for 1-2 days? what is the uniform?

hey...c as i hv always said dat all the streams at FORE are good ..bt ops and HR are the two specializations whr we hv less no of ppl opting for them compared to MKT/FIN....the faculty for ops is very good..even the programme director is ops guys...regarding the companies which visited FORE u can get it from the website..most of the students had multiple offers

I just wanted to know that do we need to be present physically for registration or someone else can do it on our behalf. Would joining letter and salary slips be fine for experience proof.

I am sorry but i ma repaeting the same question. Whats the average packege. The site only mentions the highest not the average.

hey..u don't need any experience proof on the day of registration...u will be given a definite amount of time to submit it...
don't wrry about the avg...just remember that FORE has one of the best placement scenario in india..we don't disclose d avg...bcoz other institutes also start adding on to dat ..and dat gives a bloated figure which might confuse the MBA aspirants....so be assured of a fabulous placement if ur at FORE....

this is regarding the hostel queries which i hv been getting on my pm....c FORE does provide a hostel but it keeps changing from year to year..so not sure whr dey r going to provide it this year..there is a bus facility for the travelling between hostel and d inst. bt it leaves at sm particular time....
regarding other living options...d best is katwaria sarai..its a colony opposite to Qutub institutional area...its a hub of MBA students with students from IMM,**** also living der...d no. of students at both these institutes is in thousands so der is a glut of MBA's walking around in katwaria....
one of th e options for gals who want to live too close to the inst. is Shubham gals hostel..many of FORE gals live der..its located at C-25 QIA.....other option may be Rajhans gals hostel in katwaria...der r sm pgs as well
for guys d option in katwaria r many..one of them may be Rajhans boys hostel...

well if its so that the hostel keeps on changing every year , then by how much time would we be able to know the actual scenario for this yr.. n whens the probable date for our classes to begin..

also the first instalment is 85000/- but the letter also mentions some amount to be paid for student activity fund , library etc - it amounts to arnd 12500... is it to be paid along with the registeration fees or later pt of time... any1 please confirm

just who is the sm1 who told u dat its not der?FORE does have a lateral placement option..u shud hv a wrk ex. of 2 yrs to be eligible for dat..this is a general criteria in most of the b-schools.

i have deposited the first installment... the classes gonna start from the 14 of june. have given my resignation as well.
but waiting for the MDI result.....

Accounts department told me that they will send a confirmation letter regarding commencement of the course and registration schedule.....

Are you sure of 14th June, if that is the case I have to resign soon( it is already late with 2 months notice period)

yes buddy. i specially asked them the date. though they said that they will me mailing them but the proposed date is 14 june. on basis of that only i have given my resignation. even i have to serve two months notice period.
