i scored 67 per in cat o6 and have 1 yr of work ex with hdfc.will i be able to get a call
About the cut-offs...accordin to me, expect calls at low %iles also...as u wud hav a test conducted by FORE afterwards also....i.e. after they shortlist ppl on the basis of CAT scores and background....no1 can tell u nethin mor abt dis as dis is d first batch...after d admissions of the first batch only, the trend for the next year can b predicted..:)

hey guys... listen ppl....i asked a guy, a friend at FORE, he told me dat a seperate test wud be conducted for IB aspirants.... as the examination scenario is not known, it is possible dat, for a course lik IB n FT...coz institutes usually prefer a seperate examination... But the regular rounds of GD n PI r for sure

people plzz.....no1 can tel u 4 sure dat wat is gona happen....we as seniors can only make estimates.....it is also possible dat no seperate test is conducted, n ppl r only shortlisted on d basis of CAT scores, n den GD n PI Its the first batch for the course, so nothin can b said 4 sure...:neutral:

yaar....dnt get me wrong but u r not soundin as though u hav given many GD PIs....neways.......no stay wud b provided by FORE.....as far as reachin FORE is concerned u can ask for QIA to ne auto walla n he'll get u ther
why is tat nothing abt specialisation is mentioned even in the prospects, i even contacted the admission staff but got no info......how is tat a course cant have a speciali....bcoz the curriculum is already mentioned

Firstly i know its a very late reply..bt better late than never....i m sure that by now u must be a part of sm B-school.......so u wnt have to wait for much time to undersatnd the kind of rigour u hv 2 go through in a B-school(i dont know hw much rigour they have to go through in IFMR)....... SECONDLY..this thread was active till d time d admissions were going on for the FMG batch..d IBM admissions started very late when d session was in full swing...WITH ZILLION OF ASSIGNMENTS..DAILY PRESENTATIONS...CLASSES FROM MORNING TILL EVENING..TERM END PROJECT SUBMISSIONS YOU DON'T EVEN GET TIME TO SLEEP FOR 4 HOURS...LEAVE ASIDE LOGGING ON TO PAGALGUY...... yOU MUST APPRECIATE THAT THESE KINDS OF INITIATIVE ARE TAKEN..ITS NOT A PAID JOB....... FOR UR SMALL QUERIES LIKE WHETHER TO CARRY ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES YOU SHOULD BE SMART ENOUGHT TO CALL UP THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE AND ASK....
hii.. plz advise about the placements at FORE school.. last yr in prospectus it was mentioned tat institute wud be shifted.. wen is it going to shift ?? hw r the summer trainings there ??
I don't recall FORE having a diploma in International Business - Someone can fill me in on the quality of the course and the placements for it and what is the cut off accepted for this course and the general mgmt course in CAT as it was around 88% I think last time on.
