hii.. plz advise about the placements at FORE school.. last yr in prospectus it was mentioned tat institute wud be shifted.. wen is it going to shift ?? hw r the summer trainings there ??

well regarding d placements..i will describe it in a single word...FABULOUS... u can make out d scenario with d kind of companies dat visit d campus..sm of d biggest MNC's r regulars....JP Morgan,Delloite,Citibank,Fidelity,Infosys,IBM,Bank of America to name a few..u can get d list on the website..... d summers is equally good with most of the companies dat recruit for finals also recruiting for summers.. well regarding d campus....i dont think it will be shifting 2 gurgaon for another 2-3 yrs...
I don't recall FORE having a diploma in International Business - Someone can fill me in on the quality of the course and the placements for it and what is the cut off accepted for this course and the general mgmt course in CAT as it was around 88% I think last time on.
d PGDM-International Business started of in dis year only....d second batch will be joinig through CAT 2007.... Now abt PGDM course.. d first filterwas at 90% this year alongwith sectional cutoffs arnd 60-70 % in each section(it varies depending on d paper)..so u can hope d cutoff 2 b around 92-94% for next year..and d sectionla cutoffs may also rise...d details r given in d mandatory disclosure in d website...

hey...c FORE is perhaps d only institute which takes into consideration even your 10th and 12th marks,your graduating college/univ,your acads etc. for sending the calls,...dey have many criteria of which wrk ex is one...even if u don't have a wrk ex it shud not really hurt bcoz we do have many ppl even without the wrk ex....bt if u lack smwhr ..u shud make it up smwhr else... Go ahead apply ..give your best shot... and haan for that matter i was also a fresher when i joined.....
My acads have been nothing special i.e. 75% avg through 10th , 12th n grad. , I'm a fresher and extra cirricilars r nothing to rave about - however I really admire Fore as a few of my friends have graduated and have nothing but praise for the institute.
If I manage to secure a good percentile in CAT i.e. above the fore cut off , is there a real chance of me getting a call letter , given that there is nothing special on my CV.

well if u do clear the cut offs then u should ideally get a call..but remember so do approximately 1500 others...bt 2 be amongst the top 150 out of 1500 call getters u need to perform well in the second round of selection process.

Hey... C when its said d placements is 200% try to get d significance of that statement....As per today in the 2007 rankingsof CSR.. FORE has been ranked as 11th best B-school..... I will jst give u one advice at this moment...do ur best to get into dis place and u will never be disappointed with the kind of salary u will get at the end of 2 yrs....and i mean dat.... a campus with companies like Bank of America, JP Morgan, Infosys, IBM, Hero honda, Delloite, Fidelity,UB,ICICI,Citigroup Global ,Hewlitt Packard, TCS ,TVS,Eicher etc a regular recruiter can never disaapoint u.. c website for details P.S...as a matter of policy we do not disclose the salary details

hi.. d cutoff for the PGDM course was 90% as d first filter and den the respective sectional cutoffs..(d details can be taken from the mandatory disclosure on d website)..for PDDM(IB) its was a arnd 85% dis year..but it was d first batch and not many ppl knew..so dis year it will jump like anything..expect it to be in the early 90%..

hi, well it can be bought from FORE's campus in delhi....d course fee for the last year was 4.25 lacs ..u can get these details in d mandatory disclosure on d websitr... hostel fees is separate...

Sir, I m yet to receive my admit card,bt hv got the cat reg:no from the official cat2007 site.I hv downloaded the online FORE form,but it's mentioned that one has to enclose the photocopy of the admit card,but i dont wanna wait till that long bcoz the last date for application is not too far. What should i do?should i send the form without the photocopy of admit card?or wait indefinitely? Waiting for ur reply
I am having a wrk ex(software) of more then 14 mnths now and graduate from engg. i wanted to ask the cutoff for FORE. and would the cut off be lower for people with wrk ex. and individual cutoffs for section is also there....is that so....if yes wat r they???
