26 mnths+ wrk ex in a reputed IT firm

Hie... My Cat 2008 score is:
Quant - 92 percentile
English - 82 percentile
DI - 42 Percentile
My aggregate CAT 2008 score is 83.94 percentile

I am an Economics graduate (Fresher) getting 70 percent
Class 12 - 59 percent
Class 10 - 85 percent
I have applied for FORE (IB). Should I expect a call. Please reply. I am eagerly awaiting your respinse.

at 90.83 i guess i am on the edge....with the lowest sectional of 71 in DI...
did we have to fill a seperate form for IB in fore??
and
can nybdy tell me wen will fore be out with the list???

does fore consider experience...as in last year the cutoff was 90 and that was for an experienced candidate,....was it higher for a fresher?
also

PGDM is a no.... A chance in IB if u hv filled it...

hey dude, avg package is nt dat gr8 dis time arond. but this goes 4 every b school in India or world right now.dont do not draw a rosy picture 4 urself right now.but the gud news is that any kinda recession lasts for 18-20 months. so by the time u pass out, u can expect an awesum package. for others who wanna b active on orkut,u may join the fore community by clickin on the link below:

Hello all

Just wanted to know "TRUE" Avg Salary of FORE, as the Institutes usually misguide the candidates.

I have 1.4 years of work-ex and have a salary of 3.89. By the time i join an MBA college in 2007, i would be getting over 5.

How much can FORE get me after that. Please suggest if joining FORE would be fine. And what %tile do we need to get to get thru.

Finally some news from FORE people ( I actually called them up to inquire about the status of my form and got this additional info hope it will help us all)

GD/PI list will be out on 27th jan 2009 according to the admission office.
The link for the results will be put up on FORE's website , you can also get the results by calling up admission ofc.

Hi!!
Even I was amazed by the low ranking.
But FORE has gained vigor only in the past 2 years and now on the verge of becoming one of the top B-Schools in INDIA.

The B-Schools ranking are vote based. The placements are good. Its in the National Capital and the infrastructure/faculty is excellent.

So "You are in safe hands once you get into FORE"

Thats what my friend (batch 2008-2010) says....

IIM S demands 80% in grad...thts the reason Friendly Fire got a call...
Its having the sectionals cut offs @ 85 %tile....

I talked to the FORE admissions department and they said the list will come out either in the afternoon or tommorow iteself.
