Could you tell me my chances here as per my profile,as in which colleges i can apply to with my profile...Would LBS be too far fetched? Their lowest gmat score was 600 last time..

Hello everyone. I have a doubt. We can apply to b-schools through both GRE and GMAT scores right? So what's the difference? Which exam should we take?
Here are a few common questions asked (compiled from real time experiences) during interviews by US B-schools for R1, 2015. Schools include Darden, Tuck, MIT Sloan, Stanford, Duke, Kellogg, Anderson, Columbia, McCombs, Georgetown, Emory, Wharton, ASU Carey, Texas Mays, Foster, Fisher, Penn State Smeal, Rice, Vanderbilt, Notredame Mendoza, Rochester Simon, Wisconsin Madison and Carlson:
1. Walk me through your resume/tell me about yourself
2. Dwelled on Resume, work profile
3. Clarifications and questions based on resume
4. What will your friends/team members say your qualities are?
5. Why Tuck/MIT/Darden/Duke.........?
6. What will your team members say your Strengths and Weaknesses are?
7. Why MBA? Why Now? Post MBA Goals?
8. What will you bring to the school's community? /How will you contribute to the peer study group at ......?
9. Several Behavioral questions, and then probed deeply on how did the candidate behaved in those situations, what was he/she thinking, what was the other guy thinking, why did he/she behave in that particular fashion, what were the repercussions, etc.
10.Tell me about a situation when u implemented a creative solution
11. Tell me about a situation when u were assigned to a broken process and you corrected it?
12. Tell me about a time when u faced a difficult situation with your subordinates.
13. What do you want to do post MBA?
14. We have very less time left, so you could either ask me a question or you could tell me something about yourself that is not there in your resume or that we have not covered so far.

Hey can someone tell me the best usa programs for masters in management/business? I just know about duke mms.. I need to apply I round 2.. my gmat score is 720
Kindly provide guidance for preparation of GMAT starting from basic to advanced, about study material,test series, etc. I have already done in depth preparation for CAT (strength=QA(91+ percentile in CAT-2014), weak/average VA).

Please help, gave GMAT last week and got a pretty low score and extremely disappointed.
My profile:
10th - 92%
12th - 85%
B.Tech - 8.0 (REC)
Work Ex: 3 yrs (Mostly in analytics space)
GMAT : 630
What are my options? Please do not advice a retake as that is not a feasible option. Interested in US Fall 16 intake. Willing to consider other options as well.

I am a 2015 passout of a b-grade engineering college. Currently, I am working with a large e-commerce firm as a software engineer. My previous academic credentials are as follows:-
10th --93.2
12th --86.8
Graduation-- 78.45 computer science engg.
I participated aggresively in ECAs during my school days. However I dont have much to show for my time at college.
What ECAs should I go for to bolster my chances of entering a top b-school? How much experience would i need to clear the process?

Hi all. SO this is my situation
I would like any consultant on this thread to give their advise/suggestion. I am currently working in a Big 4 company and now I plan to leave the job with 6 month exp in hand. (Which I know is nothing, but still), apart from that here is a glimpse of my credentials. :
10th - 8.2 GPA (CBSE)
12th- 91% (CBSE)
BBA graduate from top Indian university (Christ, Bangalore) - 3.4/4 GPA (First Class degree)
So now I plan to leave my job and study for GMAT and apply for 2017 Batch for Msc in either Management or Entrepreneurship/innovation management. (Want to aim for scholarship too).
What is the GMAT score I should strive for and plus is my academics achievements decent enough to crack top 10 University in Europe or US. And I plan to appear for exam by July-August (GMAT)...
I would also like to know for names of universities which I should really look into for applying.

Work Experience - 25 months till date
I have done my B.Tech from civil engineering and currently working in a PSU in the hydropower department ..I would like to do MBA (specialisation in Finance) from a top university in USA.
1)Actually my current work profile includes technical civil engineering work with very little aspects of finance. So will there be any problem in bagging a seat in those Universities.
2) Are my academics strong enough to get into top universities?
3) Whats the average expenditure to do MBA in USA.?

Hi, I am familiar with pagalguy and have been silent participant for a long time now. I am seeking advice on how a non-technical graduate can get into Tier 1 Indian B-schools. My profile looks like this Xth - 85% XIIth - 80%(Commerce with Maths) B.com Reg - DU - 50%(just at the borderline for MBA eligibility) Company Secretary (CS) - 1st attempt qualified I have a work experience of 2 year in IT sales. I joined the company after my graduation. I did study anything in college, that's why the score is terrible. I want to turn in around now. What is the best college I can get ?
