I second "LADAKH"...seems like God's playground..there are some pictures on my blog..check 'em out and vote for Ladakh 😃
I was lucky enough to visit Singapore once... what an amazingly clean place...
The shopping... the zoo there was the bloody best... The Aquarium... a tunnel where you're on a conveyor belt, and the surrounding tunnel is like, full of fishies... wow...

2)Ladakh
3)Goa
4)Andamans
We have these 3 places in India, trust me guys, we dont need to visit any other place in the world.....
i wud suggest the best place to visit in India is Kashmir.....i had been there in 2003.....and believe me its truly the HEAVEN ON EARTH...
there's no gainsay why its is called JANNAT!!!
the most memorable place i hv been to was macleodgunj in himachal pradesh..near dharamshala. It was such an experience trekking through the snow capped hills of laka and triund..we didnt find a soul in those deserted parts of himachal for entire 2 days!!!
Also visited the beautiful buddhist monastry in dharamshala..and we didnt have any clue that the 14th karmappa was seeking refuge there at that very time!! 😃
Hey
iam absolutely in love with himachal. i;ve been to shimla, solan, chail, kufri, kasauli etc. I'm planning another trip in may this year. Can someone pls tell me about some other amazing destinations in Himachal. I'm not the adventuring seeking trekking kinds. So pls only the places accessible by cars with comfortable hotels for me. No camps.
Thanks.
OOps. forgot to mention, also can someone tell me about Kerala?? Have been to tamil nadu, karnataka n AP but not to kerala. Is it a better option than HP for may?
visited HarishchandraGad and kokankada on sat/sunday. for more updates keep checking my signature.
for me the most beautiful place has to be bhutan .
Its so untouched and its pristine beauty makes a poet out of u.
Thimpu the capital is a valley city which is cut into two halves by a
river.. there are apple orchards lining its banks..the temples..the mountains.
then again paro is also a beauty. the natural scenic beauty of this country is breathtaking.
Nepal is good but its not as pretty as Bhutan.
I have visited quite a few places, right from Leh to Andaman islands, Shimla, Kullu Manali, Goa, Kerala (Backwaters), Pondicherry...
All are quite amazing in themselves..Although Shimla, Goa , Kullu manali..types are getting quite crowded now a days..
Port Blair has some really nice beaches n Backwaters in Kerala is amazing too.
And if u like adventure, travel by road from Manali to Leh....its real fun..2 days of journey..
Hey those ppl who wanna come to kerala,
ye its nice all the year round. You juss select the type of place u wanna see in kerala. Mountains, beaches, backwaters, amusement parks, wilderness treks, ayurvedic massages, pilgrimage etc etc. You get it dont you? Thats why we call it Gods own country.
Personally, I'd say during may you shud visit the back waters in Alappuzha or somewhere and may be some hill side treks. Beaches might be a bit too hot. (got it ritu?)
i have not been to many places, but a few days back i went to a place called munnar in kerela.it is a hill station and believe me,it has to be among the best in india.it was awesome.lots of places to go and every place is totally clean.i am tempted to call it the best in india, but i wudn't coz i haven't been to some other famous places.
however a few days back i got a fwd having snaps of a place kalamachal(near trivendrum).phew!it was incredible.i find myself short of superlatives to describe the snaps i saw.may be i"ll go there sometime soon.
believe me,if u are staying in and around kerela, make every use of the opportunity to go to these places.i am not sure if u wud get so many places in such a small radius anywhere else in india.
