hey awesome pics man . a gr8 place 2 go somehow i feel there are some great untapped spots in east india which our tourism/govt have never realised .
these are pics of my visit to water rafting camp in rishikesh.
this one is of me n my friends plus two guides all geared upto go in water .
these two were taken while rafting..girl in second pic is one of our friend who fall victim to a prank by our guide( the white guy in first pic). she was scared of water as it was very cold ( mid feburary) n she didnt know to swim though there wasnt any real danger coz she were life jacket. all we were doing was laughing our heart out. cund take pic of any rapids as we have to hold the raft tighty while going thru rapids.
last one is of our camps . awsome place..must go for adventure seekers
My most memorable trip so far has been the 3800 Km motorbike ride to Ladakh and Zanskar in September 05..

After seeing those pics u got adrenaline rushing in me..
AWESOME
I love travelling and have many favourite places...
But some of the best are:
Shivpuri near Rishikesh: had a great experience rafting down from devprayag to rishikesh.
Rumtek monastery in Sikkim. Its near gangtok but seems totally disconnected from the world. The scenery around is really great.
Bhimtal and nauchukiatal (not sure of the spellings) and jilling's estate in uttranchal.
i liked nainital a lot had lots of fun mountaineering there...now i haven been out in a bit coz of the stupid cat
cheers,
neil
went to Rishikesh on a rafting trip month back....
Enjoyed a lot as it was my first raftting experience..
did rappling also
best part in rafting were the rapids
on the whole a great experience
Haven't travelled much on my own yet but
of Goa and Fatehpur Sikri gave me some beautiful memories.
Quite opposites the two.
Goa for everything and everything else.
The latter for it's serenity and faith-hanging-heavy-in-the-air-feeling.
Would love to explore Ladakh.
