ok guys,
my next trip in this term break would be near the pindari glacier and the tungnath temple in uttaranchal . this temple is in fact the highest in india. will post some pics of those places as well.....looking forward to another "beautiful" trip :):):):)

All the best for your trip to the glacier. I thought I should post some of the pictures I clicked while I trekked to a glacier. (Dokriani is in the upper Himalayas of Uttaranchal and acts as the origin of Dingadh which is a tributary of Bhagirathi (Ganga from Gangotri to Dev Prayag) ).

We would wait to hear more about your trip and see some of the pictures from Uttarancal

there is a small little town in the north east....
it goes by the name tuin sang
i was only 7 when i visited it but i still remeber it vivdly.....
its on top of a huge mountain...with the town spreading into the valley...
full of churches...
in the evening the bells start tolling...
the wind starts singing...
the rain drops colour the landscape...
ahhh....
heaven

I went to Amarnat last month. Trekked for 51 kms.... startd from chandanvari to sheshnaag then panchtarni then to the gufa. Came back via the shorter way(Baltal)... Trust me guys its the best place i hv ever been to ..... treked for abt 15 kms on the snow..... but wherever the civilization reaches, they destroy the natural beauty.... but still it was awesome

Hi all,

Back from a trek to Milam glacier (it is near Nanada Devi and trishul). Trekked 130 kms in about 6 days :wow::wow::wow::wow:. The pics are on these links ....
