Can anyone plz tell me about any good correspondence course. It would be helpful if you could also name a few courses apart from Time, CL and IMS. I want a course with a good logical and fundamental approach to solve problems.

For quants i ud suggest Quantam CAT......thats a great book indeed.....DI LR....you have to take help from Mock CATs.....and insti material.....personal belief TIME is the best.......VA.....if you get to know some books name please let me know also .....
hey guys .. for quant : arun sharma is good ..though it has some wrong answers ...if u think ur quant is too good so then u can refer aryinth publication book . d.I : again arun sharma and any institutes material..... verbal: for verbal vocab cards ...and online reading books will hel u a lot.......
Are these sufficient and of the level of insti. materials ?
DI/LR - Arun sharma Quant- Trishna or Arun Sharma- which one better ?? VA- ArunSharma + Wren n Martin + Reading habbit
Are Arun Sharma books uptodate with latest CAT trends??
I have a doubt about wren and martin..it's tedious and time consuming..we dont have to go so deep into grammer for CAT..any classes stuff should be fine for grammer if you have time and can do flash cards, it will be very helpful to interpret rc's in a better way...coz 90% of the time we are stuck in rc's only because we dont know the meaning of that particular word:oops: it's a personal opinion though..:drinking: reading cannot help you in short term preparation...vocab improvement will go much faster and more productively with flash cards:grin:
and instead of reading newspaper coloumns .solve atlest 3 rc's a day..that'll help more... remember every minute you spend in your prep shold be directly useful in incresing your score..just monitor your time spending is wot i think..

Are Arun Sharma books uptodate with recent trends
i dont have any idea about trishna but for arun sharma : if you are an enginerring student you must do it..otherwise (commerce, arts) you may find it a bit demoralising if you do it without joining any coaching classes... genral idea about arun sharma is that it can make a lot of difference if you do it systematically and analyse your progress..so i think every1, whether going to coaching or not must do it.. updated with recent trends or not...they book's purpose is to clear your concepts so you can solve problems pertaining to those concepts..that is the prime reason why the book has not outdated over the years...but still by and large it covers everything..i havent seen the recent editions though... for those going to coaching insti : though they teach you everything there you may still learn something new from arun sharma...ultimately no amount of prep is just suffeicent...:drinking: edit: level of arun sharma is infact higher that some insti material..but word of caution, it can also depress some not so confident souls without proper guidance..
edit2: you will always find many ppl for and against arun sharma...coz diffrent things work for different ppl..and that it fair enough..so dont jus lisn to anyone...grab a copy yourself and after doing 20 pages you'll know whether it's helping you or not...cheers!
Is it necessary to consult like 10 different books for preparation. wouldn't the material given by a coaching institute suffice, if one concentrates in the classes and practice the material throughly?
