Yeah,it's somewhat related to CA Final SFM. There is also a subject of Economics and some portions of QT of AMA paper of CA Final is covered in CFA L1.
L2 onwards will be a different ball game altogether.

Just provided the ebooks no big deal in that.
Because of the comprehensive nature of the CFA, i believe no one can find everything on its own without support from some other candidates. lets keep on helping each other in all means and focus on the target.
has anyone of u started with the prepration.
wanted to know are you ppl going through the schweser question bank and the questions at the end of each topic(both in schweser books and CFA ebooks) simultaneously or planning to do after covering the complete syllabus.
Are there any other sources of questions other than the above mentioned.
also for a person from non financial background, which all topics do u think would be difficult to understand than others.

CFA is wht i was thinking of and aiming to complete atleast 2 level by next year.
wht are the chances of getting a good job with CFA certification only as i dont have an MBA degree or any past work ex related to finance.

Hi,
CFA is actually a Career enhancement certificate not a career changer, it adds value when either you're working in the Finance domain or you'll be joining it after MBA. So finding a job solely based on CFA can be painstaking, unless you have a pretty good "insider" 😉
I mean, that case is pretty rare, you'll have to make a story, why Finance, why CFA, why now and many other such questions. Better combine it with MBA or another degree which can help you switch your current domain. Then CFA will be a booster!
Checkout this thread. Follow first 40-50 pages diligently and you'll get better idea.

n.bro..i too have my mba startin frm.15 june so have only one mnth left..in.mba it.wud b really difficult to study cfa ...so lets start asap so that in this month we can get almost half our syllabus done..:)

is it possible to get the original CFA institute ebooks online? i cant seem to find them. I have the schweser notes and video lectures but still want the cfa institute ebooks. I have not registered yet and dont intend to till august with $ going at 54 😞
