need ur suggestion.. i did my graduation in B.com and secured 88%.. initially my target was to secure admission in a top bschool so wrote cat but ended up getting less percentile in cat so took up a job which is not related to core finance (into a payroll process). Having a strong commerce background i feel that i could fair well in CFA level 1 atleast. my point is will a CFA alone help me to secure a good job (post qualifying all the 3 levels) without doing MBA??
In My opinion you would need to get a MBA along with CFA that will boost your profile. Thought this does not deny the fact u can get a job after CFA.

I have not yet enrolled (since my passport is stuck at the passport office.), but have received Schweser notes for June'12. Can anybody tell me if there are any extra practice question sets available (over net, pdfs or may be some book) for each LOS/module. I don't think Schweser notes contain enough of practice problems. Moreover, those seem to be very easy for a CFA exam.

buddy, the schweser notes are good enough for Level 1. do them thoroughly and do the concept checkers well. mark questions you find tricky so u can pay special attention to them in the end. imho, for extra questions the schweser prac exam book, schweser cd and cfa institute books (you will get them on registration) are more than enough. use schweser ka notes.. u get a copy for 700 to 900 bucks dependin on quality, nd also buy the cd of videos, it costs extra though. u can get all the material on torrentz. but printin d sftcopy will cost more
