Can you please throw some light on how useful these are in cracking the exam and understanding things to the full for a person who is not from the commerce background?
Do you know anybody who after studying these schwester notes got done with the exam LEVEL 1 easily?

u get the notes for as around 700-900.. 1100 is a bit more fr d xerox of des notes.. although original cost around 4000-5000..
and des notes are widely refered, u also get separate kaplan notes wen u register fr d exam in either e-book form or printed form dependin on u.. (printed version costs 35 dollars more).. u can refer des notes too but they 3-4 times in size compared to schweser..
i m and engg student so i understand ur concern bout understanding the topics. i first went through the videos of schweser.. that gave me a good understandin of the whole syllabus.. the videos are around 44 hours long in total.. after doin the videos i refered the notes.. (most of it was simultaneously while watching the videos)..
these notes combined wid videos and practise exams (u get 6 practise exams wid d book and 2 more wen u register for the exam) are more then enuf to clear d exam.. ( i m awaitin results, fingers-crossed) most of d ppl i know hav cleared the exam even widout d videos..

sorry bro i dont hav the link wid me, i had downloaded good 6 months back. and sendin it is not possible as the files r too big (nearly 120mb). and videos nearly 4gb.

i wud recommend u give it in june coming yr.. but it all depends on ur capacity and background bout commerce, as i hav mentioned b4 der r ppl who clear it wid very little prep, but overall on an average u need 300 hrs of prep to crack it. to dat u can add wat ever time u need to revise and solve mocks..
basically fr a non-CA/CS/MBA fellow 6 months of prep, wid 2 hours a day..
it seems easy at the beginning but as u start solvin mocks d fact that u need to retain 10 subjects together becomes taxing.. (so yes u need a sharp memory)

U'l need atleast 250-300 hrs given that u r already aware of most of the concepts......otherwise...i hope u can guess urself

I am personally started to feel that this forum is all about arranging notes and joining clases.
Can we not start preparing for the exams by getting our queries together here, that ways it will help those who need help on certain topics.
May be we can start dedicating 1 week for each Study session and everyone one who has queries can post here. also if someone feels that certain thing, certain type of question is important the he can post and let others know, this way we can help each other out in preperation.
If you people are interested lets get started coz it will still take 18 weeks if we start now that would mean we could finish by Oct, Nov then can be dedicated to all the revisionn and practice.
Time is running 167 days to go only.
