I am planning to join CFA level 1 coaching in Chennai. Not sure which one is better...pristine or Knowise...can anyone advise?

I have no idea about Knowise but I can say that the classes at Pristine are pretty good.You can maybe attend a demo class at both to find out which one suits you better

No buddy you should not even consider them.........the CFA institute changes the syllabus every year........

calculator - Rs.2000

study notes + calculator only will suffice or getting videos is mandatory?

Hi, I am residing in Delhi, just registered myself for CFA L1 in dec. 2012. I have been looking for coaching centers and now that I found a few, I have difficulties deciding which one to go with, and shortlisted down to 2.

Yes the syllabus changes every year though not much. But you never know. Recently CFAI totally revamped the Eco syllabus.


As said and done, this need not deter you from studying from the old books till the time new books come out. You can always adapt later.
